Calvin should be getting s**t done and not risk getting fucked over. And its relevant because the BB situation you compared it to is completely different It really is not a game of musical chairs that starts in a frenzy on July 1. Conversations between teams and agents and players have been going on for weeks and in many cases months.

Bro free agency is almost finished. Only a few good players left There are lots of players who remain unsigned. In each case, it can be debated how good they are, but free agency is far from finished. Yeah the offseason isnt over. Sure they can sign Jimjam in august if they want to. But FA is over when the good players are gone

Hatching a plan. And you end up sitting and begging no other team show interest in your targets because you cant offer what they want. Horrible situation every way you look at it. No one else wants the players? Hmmm not very exciting They dont like what we offer? Hmmm not very exciting Our GM best plan is to pray? Hmm not very inspiring

It isn't. Bruce struck out and signed with the Nuggets for the TPMLE to rehab his value. how is it similar? One signed with the nuggets, the other one literally havent even done that How do you know BB «struck out» he believed he could get even better offers the year after Saric or whoever they are talking to is not convinced. And if we do get them it is because he struck out. Cant say BB struck out when he signed day one basically. And if he did then Calvin have done jack s**t and just got insanely lucky. And is trying to do it again www.sbnation.com/nba/2023/6/13/23759608/bruce-brown-denver-nuggets-nba-free-agents-championship-contract

I fail to see why that's a relevant point. Bruce made his decision quicker. OK. there's going to be at least one good player in the FA market that's going to be open to taking the TPMLE after striking out with teams with money. Calvin should exercise patience. Nuggets fans think it’s like a 5 year old birthday party with a sugar-induced game of musical chairs that starts immediately on July 1 and ends when the music stops for good. As opposed to team executives meeting regularly throughout the year to plot personnel decisions, and having discussions with player agents over a period of weeks and months.

He could have dragged out FA. But he probably appreciated being top of our list.

Extremely condecending and i dont see why you would asume something this stupid

Jose Alvarado and his Puerto Rico squad destroyed my Italy. He solo killed us with 29 points 10/15 from the field and 7/10 from 3. Would prefer him over Westbrook every day...
Edit: All that in 27 minutes and in FIBA rules without 3 second rule. Toyed with us...

All those (and it's like 99% of the board) who cant wait for RB to sign, all i have to say is be careful what you wish for. I am all in on Saric on TPMLE, i am 0% in on Westbrook. Give me Micic to run PnR with Saric. 2 high BBIQ players which can involve, develop and elevate Strawther/Watson/Holmes much more than 1 man show in Westbrook. Also, if Micic turns out is not good enough, transition from him to Brogdon at trade deadline (buyout) would be much easier given that both play similar/traditional point guard style.
Edit: There is no way that Calvin used 3 second round picks just to dump Reggie (without Zeke) to Hornets. I think that RB story is just a smoke screen for some kind of a deal with Charlote.

Jose is great and a fan favorite. the Pelicans are not giving him up. He was awful in the playoffs and it stood out even more because he was the only PG they had. He's too small. He's Markus Howard sized.

He was the only PG the Pelicans brought to the postseason and he was awful. Of course he's better than Pickett but we can't swap Pickett for him anyway.

Ah yes, they played as 8th seed vs OKC. You are right.

They got swept by the Thunder in the first round. Good lord. So you really didn't watch Alvarado in the playoffs. Suffice it to say he's not a rotation quality playoff guy. Period.

I am just under the impression of what he did to my national team. Forget about it.
