With Russel Westbrook opting in to his 4 million dollar deal, my guess he is going to the Nuggets for Zeke? Rather have than Micic? I said this might happen earlier, so don't forget to give me my Nuggets talk cred. LOL |

There is no world where KCP is worth 25M. He's not even worth 20M. He's the 5th role player on a Championship team. Guys like that should be in the 15M range. He's also aging and banged up Not sure how this is shocking as Bruce Brown got $23 mil/year as a bench player! Not saying I think either are worth $23-25 mil/year but that is the going rate in free agency nowadays! Bruce is a much more versatile player than KCP though. He can do a little bit of everything. KCP is literally just a perimeter defender who shoots 3s. |

I'm not sure there are many things that would make me happier than Jokic and the Nuggets solidifying Westbrooks legacy and getting him a ring.
Say what you want about the guy (and holy s**t would he be frustrating to watch at times)...that dude always plays with 100% effort and this team desperately needs guys like that.

Westbrook running the bench unit could be pretty decent. Not sure how much he has left offensively, but still gotta be better than Reggie. And at least he'd bring energy and some defense. Westbrook/Strawther/Watson/Cancar/Holmes would be fun to watch, at least.

You need maturity and steadiness running the point with those guys, and floor spacing. Russ can’t space the floor and can’t finish at the rim like he used…yet still attacks it like he’s 25 years old. Beggars can’t be choosers at this point, but I think he’d frustrate the hell out of us. |

He’s not a great finisher anymore. And he’s not an ideal pnr partner for Jokic because teams cheat and go under ball screens when Russ has it. Not a fan |
