Makes me feel a little better. Although the spurs didn’t get boatraced at home in that series.

Lmao dude you have acted no differently this year than any other year. Come to forum, tell bad jokes, call racism when someone disagrees with you, say fu jimi, repeat. And like Lothar you sneaky like this post. This is a post talking flat out s**t about the personality of someone you act like you friends with. This is some high school mean girl s**t. Like grow the f**k up. Let Sticky be upset. Him calling this place racist (and he has his reason) wouldnt upset any non-racist this much. Going after his banter and jokes is just low. Like were you guys fake this whole time? Or is it just to hurt his feels I think even sticky would agree that I don't act like I'm friends with him. I rarely even interact with him. I've told him straight up in posts before that I don't understand why he comes here when he never talks about the games or basketball in general.

Makes me feel a little better. Although the spurs didn’t get boatraced at home in that series. That's a good example of a very good team getting destroyed in the playoffs. That was a decent team for the Spurs. Of course they had their big 3 of Tim/Parker/Manu. Bruce was still an elite defender/dirty player. They had that Eason guy. Pretty good comparison to us to be honest.

Pretty good comparison to us to be honest. What's interesting is that team had to completely retool after that, so also something to think about. It was after this that over time they brought I Patty Mills, Kawai, Diaw around their aging stars. I'm a big believer that your either getting better or worse so these next two years will be interesting.

Patty Mills and Boris Diaw type payers are realistic targets
Kawhi pre-injury was elite enough to dethrone prime Bron as the best player in the universe. that pick was Jokic-level miraculous.

I’ll add this — I think it’s bush league for the league to change the rules of the game at the all-star break. It is obvious to any of us with a working brain that the criticism of the scoring splurge that came to a head with the 359 point allstar game led Adam Silver to instruct referee management to immediately change how games were going to be officiated. When you go from “that’s a foul” to “that’s not a foul,” you are changing the rules of the sport. Now we are mostly back to the 90’s when you could clutch, grab and bump perimeter players 40 feet from the basket as long as you only do it for 1-2 seconds at a time. You can bump the hell out of interior players as long as it’s not on their shooting arm while they are shooting. The “new rules” seem in part to be something along those lines, although it’s difficult to say since I’m not sure the refs even know exactly what the rules are supposed to be now. Since this was changed mid-season, the refs aren’t really sure how to officiate games — other than “call fewer fouls” — so it’s wildly inconsistent. Well said - which is why - You can beat these rules, but you have to play like James Harden. Pull up, bait, and take the contact. Our guys don't like contact. But that's the only path the Wolves are offering.

I don’t think the rules are clear at all. I’m watching the Mavs-Thunder game and it isn’t nearly as physical as last night’s game and the teams have combined for 49 FTs through three quarters.

never fun when your team folds like a cheap lawn chair.
this is like an even worse version of the Warriors having their come out party at our expense in 2013. only we had mole drama to distract us and we actually made a series of it, which included an iconic YMCAndre game winning layup.

That plus the Canelo fight days prior plus the Avs plus real life. I read a bit here but I have been away from my laptop and don't generally like typing up posts from my phone.

Seen this movie before multiple times as a Broncos fan. Doesn't mean the franchise is doomed. Often times, its the catalyst needed for proper change.

Seen this movie before multiple times as a Broncos fan. Doesn't mean the franchise is doomed. Often times, its the catalyst needed for proper change. Based on last summer, it always seemed to me that ownership/management made a decision not to put too many eggs in this season’s basket. Maybe they figured that fatigue was probably going to stand in the way of a repeat, recognizing that its been a while since a team repeated and that was a team with prime Curry and prime Durant that dwarfed the rest of the league in high end talent. In any event, by rostering 3 late draft picks in addition to 2 still developing second year players — rather than 2-3 more Justin Holiday type older vet min guys — it seemed like an intentional decision/strategy to prioritize 2023-2029 over 2023-24. And FO doubled down on that when they signed Nnaji to an extension that made him basically untradeable during the season. I’ll add that I wouldn’t be shocked if Booth loses his job or if ownership brings in somebody else above him to be the senior FO guy. Josh Kroenke is going to hear a lot of criticism of the FO approach to this season when he talks to people both inside and outside the organization.

Booth won’t be fired. That’s asinine - the dude still drafted Braun and Peyton - both big hits. He also got us kcp.
Booth has a lot to work with this summer - plenty can be done with Zeke and Reggie’s contract when packaged with a first.
If booth swings and misses this summer - then maybe trouble is in the water - but booth still has a long leash.
I don’t know what will happen with minny next year. Again - they’re literally our only competition, again, next year.
They will lose Conley, SloMo and Monte - so do prepare for “Jordan McLaughlin” bench minutes again. With their cap, I think it’s a decent chance that naz or McD is also jettisoned (in the case of mcd, NAW steps in, who might actually be better anyways - but still hurts the bench).
I also think minny has gotten very lucky. McD, NAZ and Kat have all had injury issues - somehow, all three have never been healthier. Makes me think they did a deal with the devil lol.
I don’t see minny having this kind of health next year, or as good of a bench. The ownership situation is also interesting. If they win the chip, their valuation explodes - great time for Taylor to sell and the new owner may just cover the first apron to keep naz or mcd (but I don’t see SloMo, Conley and Monte coming back).
If we lose, we get the advantage of rest, and new perspective to prioritize health next year and not drop winnable games.
