Offense has been ugly all playoffs long. There's no rhythm at all. I have no idea why people expect us to play a much better defense and all of a sudden just play good basketball. The offense is broken and it's mostly on Jokic. He doesn't compromise the defense with the way he's playing. Jokic took 6 shots already. I don't know what you want man. He missed 4 of them but missing shots is part of the game The second Murray came off the floor the Nuggets, Jokic started being aggressive. The one issue I think when both Murray/Jokic are on the floor is they keep spamming the 2 man game. Teams have cut off that pocket pass to Jokic and they don't really have much counter wise from it. It's Murray pull up or pocket pass to Jokic. Have to get more movement off it. Not enough secondary actions once it's taken away. |

Once Malone took the trash out, better offense better defense and 11-0 run. Hopefully he keeps him on the bench

Great quarter all things considered. Phenomenal defense from Reggie Jackson and Justin Holiday.
Murray/AG have to hold the bench together now.

I don't care what you guys say, Jokic is deferring to Murray to start these games off. Jokic posting up should be the 1st shot of every single game because it sets the tone. Jamal came off the floor and Jokic got more aggressive but more importantly the Nuggets got stops and that allowed them to score in transition. The big takeaway from me there is the Nuggets still have it in them to play elite defense for stretches. Can't win without that. |
