Well, his 3PT efficiency is better than ever, so that might have something to do with it. He wasn’t being guarded very tightly when he made those b2b 3’s behind the top of the key in the fourth quarter last night. Given how well he’s shooting from distance and how he was guarded, those were good shot selections whether or not he feels tired later in game. I’d say there is more to shot selection — late in a very close playoff game — than regular season math. Those two 3’s were good shots, scooter, as they were almost daggers and he was loosely guarded. I felt both would go in when he launched them. And they did. The third one with 15 seconds left did not go in, and we were very fortunate.

Those shots were decent shots, but since the Lakers scored only 40 points in the 2nd half, I’m not convinced that the Lebron-centric offense, which went away from what was working for them before that, was good overall for their team. Since Lebron decided he needed to be the PG and control their offense, he also decided he needed to slow their offense down to a crawl to accommodate his energy level. In addition to reducing their offensive output, it probably helped the Nuggets conserve their energy, which may have contributed to the Nuggets’ 200 offensive rating down the stretch. Lebron is amazing, and the fact he’s now an excellent three point shooter has kept him playing at an allstar level at age 39. But when he was walking the ball up court and running clock every possession, I was feeling better about the Nuggets’ chances.

Obviously lebron is on substances lol. As are many players.
And I personally think it’s stupid to ban them. If done in proper dosing levels, testosterone and hgh are super healthy for people past age 35 and great for immunity.
Sadly, our nation is stuck on Lyle Alzado episodes where non-natural steroids were used and heavily overdosed. Protocols are enormously different since then.
I also think Alzado died of things that had nothing to do with anabolics - his death, sadly, charts well with HIV.

I'm a firm believer that men in their 30s and 40s should not be taking testosterone replacement and the natural decline of testosterone production as you age can be offset with diet, exercise (particularly weight lifting but cardio is important as well), better sleep, more vitamin D exposure and the limiting of xenoestrogens as much as possible.

Agreed 110% - if you can do it that way. But once you get past 34, it’s a very hard war to maintain the same muscle and ability to recover, without testosterone and some peptides to naturally aide hgh. As for me - I was put on statins at age 29 due to the fact that everyone in my family dies of fattiness and heart attacks. Statins utterly poisoned me. People don’t realize it, but they’re literally made of poisonous fungus. They give zero help to the heart and just destroy your body. (Note: healthiest thing you can do for your heart is donating blood 3 times a year - keeps your hemoglobin levels low, which reduces how hard your heart has to pump). I’m still livid that I was put on statins for 3 years. Used testosterone to help my body heal and it made a big difference. Biggest game changer for me tho has been cleanses - spent the last two years doing Candida, parasite and other cleanses. Have way more energy and clarity than before. Big game changer has been a kidney cleanse - stunned at how much more energy I have since doing that one.
