I can’t relax or cool down after a win like that but I’m going to try to post some thoughts really quick.
Justin Holiday was an unsung hero in that game and I really hope Malone shouts him out. I don’t know what his box score looks like nor do I care. He made at least 5 little plays that were absolutely huge. Deflections, hustle steals, just phenomenal.
The energy CB brought was huge. Just a great all around game from him. Love that his defense is back to his standards.
Shout out KCP for guarding Lebron f***ing James. Malone made a phenomenal adjustment by switching KCP into Lebron and AG onto AD to remove Jokic from the screen and roll action.
Nuggets don’t win that game without MPJ. Was the steadying force every single time the Nuggets needed a bucket.
The AG rebound, stay in bounds somehow and pass to MPJ for the 3 was the 2nd biggest play in the game.
Jokic was absolute nails down the stretch. Took it to AD/Rui and was a footwork master.
And finally. Playoff Jamal. Simple as that.

murray did have that stupid turnover , james dunk it , la up 3 ,, mpj hit a big 3 after that -that save the game Agreed. MPJ was lowkey the unsung hero of this game. Only guy that was consistently hitting shots, and had a ton of timely ones.

get your laps in now rock and Murray haters, we're going on a run. The thing that sucks is this is the exact type of game where Murray goes off in the 4Q if the Nuggets could get it within 10. But I don't see us getting within 10. I just want to point out that the Nuggets did indeed get it to 10 to end the 3Q and Jamal did indeed go off in the 4Q

This was a 4th time that Jokic posted a line of 25+/20+/10+ in a PO game and the same line was posted only 4 more time in the nba history. 2x by Wilt, one time by KAJ and one time by DC

Only guy that was consistently hitting shots, and had a ton of timely ones. Don’t forget MPJ had the critical rebound after Lebron missed a wide open 3, leading the the buzzer beater possession. MPJ is dialed in better than I’ve ever seen from him. Family issues have actually improved his focus on the floor.

I don't know if this team wins a title this year, but man does it feel good to rip the hearts out of Laker nation tonight! This was the Lakers best chance to steal a game and Murray just stomped on them!

Everyone shitting on Murray can f**k off You’re right, of course. But if Murray had made even ONE 3-pointer, he wouldn’t have needed to be a buzzer beater hero. Two sides to the coin, but Murray is as clutch as they come! Yeah not sure I can completely erase the rest of what was a horrible shooting night for Jamal, but still absolutely clutch at the end!

This team can't play worse than this. Jamal will play better each round.

Watson +11 Braun +6 Reggie +4 Holiday +2 Joker +1 Murray -2 Porter -4 Gordon -4 KCP -4 We are due for a big KCP game. Jokic carrying the bench losers. In 2 games bench is 12 for 36 (33% fg) and 3 for 19 for 3 (16%). Absolute dog s**t carried by Jokic

This one's for rock:
The Nuggets have come back from double digit deficits to win 35 times in the last two years including playoffs. Most in the NBA.

Jamal said in the postgame he didn’t even see it go in. He only knew because of the crowd. So cool

Last year, Jeff Green was our playoff whipping boy. This year, it’s RJ. But as with Green, RJ took a charge from Lebron in second half. That’s why veterans in playoffs can contribute even if they are washed. They know where to be at key moments.

nuggets.proboards.com/post/new/18276That was fun to watch in the 2nd Half! IMO = MPJ is the difference between 3 years ago vs now? some luck and some players but MPJ being above average makes a difference.

That might just be the greatest comeback I've ever seen. It's one thing to do it when 2-3 guys get hot and start making 3's all over the place. It's unheard of to erase a 20 point lead when you can't throw a pea in the ocean.
Maybe a top 5 win of all time for me. Got some air when Murray hit that shot.

Guys not named Jokic or Porter were 0/20 from the 3 point line. And we won.
