Tatum -8, Brown +9. If Tatum wins finals mvp, that's going to be a huge scam

Dallas punted the seeding this year. They chose to give 11 days of rest to Luka and Kyrie vs fuc*ing bs seeding. That got them to the finals which was more than they could expect. I think that's because Dallas were locked into the 5th seed with almost two weeks remaining. They could have been 4th if they won out and had a home court in one series

They could have been 4th if they won out and had a home court in one series Weren't they like 2-3 games behind the Clippers who also had the tiebreak? With about half a dozen games to go. They certainly had far less to play for than OKC-Minnesota-Denver who all chased the 1st seed.

Uncle Al with the clutch stop on the switch. Gobert take notes.
happy Horford is 1 win away from a chip. if Uncle Paul didn't get one, Uncle Al should.

Jaylen Brown is a top 10 player in the NBA.
He's easily the finals MVP.

I just don't understand how the Mavs made the finals with these role players. It's unbelievable.

No. The were 50:32 and Clippers were 51:31. Dallas punted the last 2 games for the rest

I just don't understand how the Mavs made the finals with these role players. It's unbelievable. It's matchups. BOS is much better put together to guard DAL actions whereas we would have been better vs. BOS then MIN, I think MIN matches up better vs. BOS then DAL honestly.

I just don't understand how the Mavs made the finals with these role players. It's unbelievable. fluke run bro. ER Clippers do what they always do and the Tpups and OKC were on their first run, with Minny expending all of their energy defending us the entire length of the court.

I am pretty sure Boston would have beaten us too.

I am pretty sure Boston would have beaten us too. If we somehow made it to the finals, they beat us 100%. If we rested the startes 2 weeks before the end of the regular season and Tatum & Brown shot the ball in the first 2 games same as against Dallas, we'd have 3:0 lead today

Things are more difficult with expectations. Especially with tougher matchups. Boston would have cooked us on D. Even last year. Last year our offense wins out. Wouldn't have this season.

Luka has gone from the precipice of being the best player in the nba, to a whiny petulant child playing some of the worst defense ever seen…in a week.

I am pretty sure Boston would have beaten us too. I'm not so sure. Nuggets were 2-0 vs Boston this year. And that was with Pingus. If he was missing from game 3 onwards I definitely think it's a 50/50 series. As always it'd depend on which version of Jamal showed up. It's just wild that this Dallas team thumped the team that beat us in 7. Dallas is certainly as dream a match up for Boston as Miami was for us last year. They would have been ecstatic when Minnesota won. Regardless this Boston team deserves huge respect. Their record in the regular season and play offs paints them as one of the greatest teams of all time.

I didn't convince myself into anything lol. What depth is Boston playing with? Houser, Tilman and Pritchard. I don't even know who those players are. I am just repeating the things that I already saw and I know what Jokic and Murray needed the most. It was only me 10 weeks ago and now every single Denver journalist along with the coaching and FO personal is repeating myself just in a slightly different form. If you didn't notice we already won a championship by resting starters almost 3 weeks before PO's. If you watch the games you noticed how well we played after only a week off in February. If you watched the games you noticed that Murray played 3x better after having 2 days rest between the games vs 1 day rest. I never said that we would repeat 100%. I said that we were the only team that had a chance to beat Boston. And yes I said that if Tatum was shooting 31%fg and 28% from 3 and Brown was shooting 27% from 3 in the first 2 games against us, today we woke up with 3:0 lead against them

This year’s Nuggets team would be a better matchup than the Mavs, but I don’t see Jamal having a good series with all the wings Boston has to throw at him. Yes, Nugs were 2-0 against Boston in the RS…but I don’t put much stock in that at this point. Hell the Suns beat the Nugs twice in Denver and I have no doubt Jokic would’ve curb stomped them in the playoffs.

Luka has gone from the precipice of being the best player in the nba, to a whiny petulant child playing some of the worst defense ever seen…in a week. Jokic has locked up best player in the world going into next season which is nice at least. Lukas defense in the finals is what people say/think Jokics defense was like 2 years ago. Just embarrassing,

in a hypothetical scenario where Jamal grinds though his many injuries and performs at the level we're accustomed to, I do believe the Nuggets would win in a hard fought series. as good as Brown has been in the finals, KCP, AG, Braun and possibly Watson would breathe a sigh of relief because he and Tatum are not the absolute f***ing Freddie Kruger nightmare matchup Ant Edwards is for them.
many Nugget fans are memory holing the 2MG but we would've out executed them in crunch time. they have no answer for Joker. Zinger would still come of the bench and wreck us like he did the Mavs, but that problem solved itself.

I just don't understand how the Mavs made the finals with these role players. It's unbelievable. I think what you see is that BOS has taken the lob threat away much better the MIN did without giving up so many wide open. Corner 3s and DAL isn't hitting their corner 3s at same rate so we have some variation back to the mean and that BOS is a better matchup vs. DAL then MIN. I also think DEN matched up better vs. Both then they did vs. MIN or LAL to be honest because neither is as big of front court. Also BOS isn't scoring great this series but their defense is smothering DAL.
