Porzingus winning f***ing around and winning Finals MVP would be an amazing outcome that absolutely no one saw coming. Rest. They didn't rush him in. Our lunatics think that they can ride Jokic and Murray to the ground and keep winning lol. I'll cheer for Zinger to win finals mvp. I hope he can stay healthy for once

Porzingis f***ing around and winning Finals MVP would be an amazing outcome that absolutely no one saw coming. Tatum would have to shoot like 12% from the field to not get FMVP, who are you kidding

I'll be honest, I forgot the game was even on until now and have been watching the Blue Bombers CFL season opener, boxing on ESPN+, and the Rockies (gotta savor those rare wins)

Rockies leading 3-2 in top of 9th, but they still need their reliever to not blow it in the bottom of 9th.

Bet the mavs to win game 2. Celtics losing at home after a game 1 blowout is the surest bet in sports.

Porz only played 20 mins tonight. C's are being very smart with his management.
I think the series is over. Dallas looks like their legs are shot.
But with that - f**k Boston.

Tatum has like 5 pts and the Celtics are up 26 lol This is such a well balanced team. The Celtics committed to a system. Here is the deal — 7 of their top 8 players shot at least 37.5% on threes and 80%+ on free throws this season. Jaylen Brown at 35% on threes and 70% on FTs is their only rotation player who is not a very good to great face up shooter, and he’s still a good one. We are already seeing the Mavs have to change their personnel — Gafford barely played in game 1 — to try to deal with the Celtics’ “5 out at all times” system.

Celtics have always been really good. They've always had a high ceiling. Tatum/Brown have just been soft in the playoffs and fall apart at the worst times. They were much better than Miami but Brown/Tatum basically gave the team zero chance to win that game 7. Tatum was bad in game 1 and has had some rough games but Brown's been pretty great this year. Especially when you factor in his defense. Boston has gave them enough support that they don't need to be anything special. Both of them can't fall apart. You've seen the ceiling but the GS/Miami series showed you the floor and that's why they've kinda been underrated IMO.
If Brown/Tatum can give you 90% of what's expected out of them than it's an A+ supporting cast. At that point you need Luka/Irving to go off in a big way. We've seen Irving do it in the finals and Luka certainly has the talent so we'll see. I don't think the Celtics will be able to purely get it done off depth tho. You'll either need Brown to keep up the stellar play or Tatum to have some big moments he's shown he's capable of.

I was skeptical of them moving Smart, but now I see Brad Steven’s vision. Smart is a career 32% three point shooter and they’ve upgraded their shooting all over the floor, which spaces the court as much as it can be spaced. There is still a chance Tatum and/or Brown could revert to some of their bad tendencies, but I think spacing the court this much takes defensive pressure off of Tatum and Brown and puts them in a better position to succeed. I’m still annoyed at how little the Celtics gave up to get Derrick White. It was similar to the Nuggets trades for Gordon and for KCP. All steals. Imagine Colorado native White on the Nuggets.

The Celts are enjoying the easiest run in the last half century, or at least since Magic and Bird were drafted.
Kudus to them, you beat the team that’s in front of you. They lost to a playin team last year so it’s not as easy as it looks.

Twolves which featured Ant's coming out party
Suns before Ishbia turned them into a NBA2K Frankenstein monster
AD/Bron Lakers with Reaves playing like prime Klay Thompson
Heat
only the finals were a cakewalk. a team like the Lakers only seem like an easy layup because we keep beating them.

What a joke that Doncic was questionable tonight. He has 20 points on 8-10 shooting with 10 minutes left in second quarter.

Shocking.
