I would rather bet on the injury-prone 25 year old over the injury prone 35 year old.

Let's not jink about health when we have a 25 yr with a 79 yr gbg back Games played over the previous 5 seasons including this one Booker: 260 (age: 27) Beal: 209 (age: 30) Porter: 196 (age: 25) Murray: 179 (age: 26) Nurkic: 162 (age: 29) Durant: 143 (age: 35) They have twice as many glass dudes and they're all older. And they don't have Jokic.

I think you’re speaking to the point though. Sure, in a perfect world where these super injury prone guys stay healthy and magically learn to work within an offense without a point guard…the league should be worried. At this point I’d say it’s equally flawed to analyze them with all 3 on the court since it appears more than likely they’ll be rolling without at least one of them for chunks of the season and possibly the post season. We don’t know that, especially with regard to the postseason. Hope you’re right since they’d be a dangerous postseason team if healthy. Other team’s fans say Nuggets had outsized luck by being fully healthy for 20 postseason games, and that this is unlikely to repeat. So it goes both ways. Eh, I don’t think a proven championship pedigree roster and a mixed bag team of aging and/or injury prone stars and vet minimum guys is equivalent. Yes, to your point, a chip run requires the stars to align in some manner. At this point, I know what the Nuggets are. Doesn’t mean they’ll repeat necessarily. The Suns, even healthy, went in with question marks. These questions haven’t been answered, and there are early indications that the roster is indeed poorly balanced. Long season though. These teams will evolve, for better or worse, in the next 6 months. Suns could gel, or make a good trade at the deadline, and become frightening in April.

Nobody here is trying to create an equivalence between our defending champion Nuggets and the Suns. If you thought I was trying to say they are on our level if healthy, that’s not correct. I’m simply pointing out it’s way premature to write them off or dismiss them.

I'm not saying the Suns are going to finish with a losing record or miss the playoffs. But I am absolutely already writing them off as a threat to win four consecutive playoff series. There is no in-season move they could make that will change that prediction.

Kelly Oubre has been hit by a car. Woj says his injuries are not life threatening or season ending, thankfully, but he will miss significant time. Awful, awful news. Hopefully he recovers quickly.

I really don't know if we will see the Suns Big Three?
The Brooklyn Big Three (Kyrie, Harden, Durant) was seen, for what.... 20 games?
The Suns are a dumpster-fire. Zero worries about that team.
Regarding the Wolves and turnovers: They will get better as the season goes along.
We will defeat the Wolves, but Calvin needs to be cognizent.
The best thing that can happen to us for the tourney is to get an extra game against Minny and give Calvin a chance to size them up.

Ant is a moron. Towns is a moron. Gobert is a moron. McDaniels is a moron.
Teams with that many idiots on them always find a way to beat themselves.

Ant is a moron. Towns is a moron. Gobert is a moron. McDaniels is a moron. Teams with that many idiots on them always find a way to beat themselves. and yet they are a problem. I just finished watching their game against Warriors. I also watched vs Nuggets and Boston. That team can play some darn good defense. If Ant is trying, they have no weak spot, even Towns is looking good cause he is away from basket and has Gobert helping him out. They are going to be hard team to beat. Towns will be guarding Jokic, with Gobert helping out. McDaniels is if not best, then top 3 perimeter defender in the NBA, and to top all of that, he is making shots. and Jamal struggled against them last year in playoffs. His worst series was against Minnesota. Way we can beat them is Gordon shutting down Towns, KCP at least containing Ant(that kid is f***ing huge and explosive as hell) and Jamal/Jokic handling Conley/Gobert pnr. On offense, MPJ and KCP will have to shoot lights out cause they will shut down paint. Jokic will score, cause he is Jokic, but he aint be dominating like he did against Phoenix or Lakers. And that is a problem. Not unsolvable problem, but problem, cause they can make Jokic less efficient, and shut down Murray, and no matter how much I like MPJ and KCP, in playoffs, I want Jamal and Jokic deciding games, not MPJ and KCP.
