Still not able to watch the games, but I will be yelling at my phone every chance I get. One more win. Go NUGGETS!!! Need a stream? I’m ok thanks. My home cable/internet is still down after the storm and cell signal has been sketchy. I’ve been getting by on looking at the play by play. Appreciate the offer 👍🏽

The only guy in the Nuggets uniform that won't be under the pressure because of the moment is MPJ. He's been mentally shot for not being able to score from anywhere on the court and that's the only thing he's got in his head right now. That being said, it's much better than being afraid of the moment. The first 3 he hits it'll take away the mental part and he'll play relaxed. It could turn into a really good game from him

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro, who was officially upgraded to questionable Monday, is expected to dress and attempt to play in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, sources told ESPN. Herro can be exploited defensively but he also is a guy who can create offense which no one on the Heat can do besides Butler on the perimeter. Bruce and Braun better be ready. A desperation move from the Heat. I think Herro will be more of a liability than be productive. He is rusty, coming back from an injury and thrown into game 5 Nuggets in 5

Unless LeBron, KD, Giannis, and those types come to our team, the Denver Nuggets will never receive the "Respect" that they deserve from national media. Even when we win the NBA championship.
Which is what makes this prospective championship that much sweeter, homegrown talent. A culture cultivated through years of hard work. Win this game regardless of what the media may think of you afterwards. That honestly doesn't matter.
Again, go get this dub gents.

Never thought I'd see Nuggets fans so cocky before the job is done. Last test of NuggLife. Didn't the Avalanche blow this exact game last year? Jordan's Bulls lost the home clinching Game 5 twice during the second three peat (three total times in their six titles). While the series looks really good, I'm a little surprised tonight is being viewed as such a lock. This is really not that uncommon of a game to lose, and it always seems like a coronation going into it. Any team up 3-1 at home for Game 5 gets this exact same "clearly the better team, this series is over" attention that Denver is getting. You're playing a team that can get hot from 3. That's their only real path, but they've done it plenty in these playoffs. I think Jokic will have to score 35+ tonight. The Avalanche were playing the 2X defending champions who happened to have the best goalie the NHL has seen since prime Roy and Brodeur. The Lightning were close to an even match for the Avalanche. The Heat don't even belong on the court with the Nuggets.

They've also won 12 games prior in these playoffs. They can easily win this game with hot shooting, especially if the Nuggets play 5% more tight, which is human nature. Today feels different than every other game you've ever played. We don't have to become the arrogant fanbase period, but especially before it's actually done.

Not only did the Heat beat Denver, they did it at home. I also think people are forgetting that the Heat made an adjustment in Game 4 and it worked really well. Trapped Murray, prevented him from scoring. Bam matched up with Jokic basically the entire game. Neither had good games. Bams defended Jokic very well in this series. Obviously you can't count on Murray/Jokic to struggle to that degree but I also severely doubt AG/Bruce play anywhere near as good as they did in Game 4. Need MPJ to step up tonight.

I haven't been popping bottles like some of my NT brethren, primarily because I still don't 100% believe this is happening.
I'm also slightly depressed at this possibly being Bruce Brown's last game with the Nuggets. It's funny, I described him as a smaller Iggy when Booth first signed him and he's very likely going to be one and done like Iggy but they will be leaving under completely different circumstances. one considered Denver an Arctic cow-town, never wanted to play here and weaseled his way out of town in the most cowardly and pathetic way possible. the other embraced the Mile High City, embraced being the Swiss army knife of the team, did whatever Malone asked of him and played a pivotal role in bringing the Nuggets to the promised land.
similar playstyles but two radically different people.

For me both things can be true.
Closing out a series is very tough. Its the NBA and with 3 point shooting anything can happen. Players choke. Players elevate. Nothing is ever a “lock”. That being said Denver is on another tier than Miami in terms talent/ceiling/floor. It’s ok to admit that. The spread for tonight is what? Like 8-9 points? Nuggets are heavily favoured for a reason.
To me we’re in the same spot we were in game 1. It’s gunna take a Nuggets choke job to lose this. It’ll take an average/bad game to lose this tonight. I don’t think it’s being cocky to think the Nuggets show up and win it at home but like anything nothing’s a guarantee.

Took my fam out to our fav steakhouse tonight here in Denver, and spotted Stephen A dining in the corner. Told our kind waiter that I wanted to buy him a drink. Waiter came back and said “he’s not drinking alcohol this evening, sir.” Dude takes his job seriously - good man. Good man? He's a professional stupid take merchant and an arrogant, self-righteous prick of an excuse for a human being. One of the scummiest people in all of sports media. Things I love about SAS: 1. He admits his biases up front and owns it (not this east coast garbage of pretending to be neutral, and then favoring the big city team). 2. I find it hilarious that he usually picks favorites on the basis of what city he wants to hang out in (which he also admits). 3. When his teams lose - he f***ing melts down and it’s so damn satisfying. The continual crying over Tebow, crying after we beat the clippers, this season - lakers and heat. Loved how he yelled at the heat guards after game 4 for scoring 2 points only - when asked why he was so mad, dude was just like “because I want another trip to Miami and they ruined it!” Love sas.

Yeah I'm sad about Bruce but I'm just holding out hope that maybe teams will just be dumb as f**k and not value him again. I'm sure he wants the bag. He's earned it. Situations like these suck because if Bruce had already had a 4/60 contract for example, it wouldn't shock me if he took a paycut to stay here. But he hasn't gotten his substantial payday yet, and he deserves it. The cool thing is, the Nuggets are 1 win away from Bruce always being a Denver legend. You can never take away this playoff run. Bruce will always get standing ovations at Ball, which is cool as f**k. This run has been so special and I don't think any of us will realize just how special it is until years from now.

But people acting like the series is already over is a bit over the top IMO. There's a difference between "I think the Nuggets close it out tonight" and "The series is over, Miami has no chance." I am very curious how Miami defends tonight. Their defense last game was very effective.

He’s earned it and I will always root for him.

Been a fan of the Nuggets from Germany since 1995 and follow this board since 2002 when Skita and Nene were drafted. Please Nuggets, win this final game!

Nuggets if anything have played below their standards.

He is a poster boy for anti-intellectualism and the sooner he is out of the national media the better everyone will be. He is neither interested in nor capable of reasoned discourse and that is why he is popular. He's also a virulent racist and sexist and one of the biggest hypocrites on television.

Flew myself, wifey and my babyboy out here to Denver. Been waiting decades for this - not missing game 5. Biggest regret right now is that I should have just purchased some f***ing season tixs. I knew we were headed to the finals back in the fall, so I’m kicking myself - sigh. Anyways - very grateful we’re here, in good health and excitement. Let’s go nuggets!!! Bro got money money. How much is the tickets for tonight? I grew up in a wealthy family - when I married my wife, I was written out of all inheritances and estate planning, due to disagreement over my choice of marriage. I told my family to "f**k themselves" - wife got pregnant shortly after. Life punched me in the face hard not long after - my wife and new son both almost died during the birth. My son had a long road of therapy to take on (he wasn't supposed to live), and my wife was diagnosed with a rough autoimmune disorder. Money got stretched tight paying for their care and trying to help both. We moved into a TINY apartment in Los Angeles. We would overturn couch cushions looking for grocery money some nights. My wife and I ultimately sold everything we had and opened our longevity company - that was 7 years ago. I remember what it was like being a tiny apartment in LA - rough sidewalks to walk, and figuring out how to maximize money for whatever dinner we were cooking. My wife ultimately came to the conclusion, in regard to her autoimmune condition, that if she ate healthy, she could overcome the symptoms (she was right). We all went gluten-free, lectin-free, and adopted organic diets - but f**k - eating healthy is expensive. I cooked a lot of our meals back then - I remember almost crying, walking into Ralphs and buying a small organic steak, as well as some organic kale, to cook for dinner - total bill was $30 or so - and then I remember seeing a bucket of Ralphs-made fried chicken, literally 2 to 3 pounds of fried chicken, for $5 on sale. So - now that we have money - We BALL OUT HARD. That said - this economy is not being kind, so I'm not going too crazy - but we are going to enjoy ourselves. That's why I'm saying I should have just purchased season tickets - we are well above what decent season tixs would have cost at this point (but it is what it is - my son can walk and my wife is healed - what more can I ask for?) I should note - my parents did apologize to my wonderful wife - we're on great terms with them, which feels good.

I understand the Nuggets are a better team and are the favorites. I have no use for victory lapping before this series is over. I've waited many years to get this close. I can watch them close the deal before I start high stepping. There's an entire offseason to talk about a series being over after it's actually over.
