I suspect the Heat will not be the only team that will value undrafted players after the CBA is going to make it impossible for tax teams to contend.

all-time yikes game from Strus 0-10 FG this would've been dangerously closer if he didn't put up a stinker. MPJ 2/10 from 3 A lot of them were good looks too. You can say all you want re them missing open 3's, we missed our fare share as well. What a win, what a way to start the finals. 3 to go |

Miami hasn't surprised me. first, they weren't tired at all. second, they run man. and they run smart. incredible transition defense. third, they have the ability to completely mess your game. you just can't catch a rhythm against them. fortunately, we have Jokic.
second game we have to be better. Struss and Martin will not go 1-17 again

Nuggets getting up big makes the game look closer than it actually was. Jokic with the big 4th quarter and shutdown any kind of run the Heat were going to make. You can go to that at anytime but the Nuggets just didn't need too for large stretches of the game. Miami has zero answer for the Nuggets offensive attack. They basically have to hope and pray for a brick fest from Denver.

MIA probably won't shoot this bad from 3 but I also don't think we will shoot as poorly either. For all the MIA fans complaining on Twitter bout missing open 3s...well DEN was just as abysmal from 3. Also to all the haters saying MIA figured us put in 4th. We got great looks vs.that zone whenever we got ball inside zone to Jokic.

Denver can win in so many ways. I’m not worried about Miami shooting better, so will Denver. And Denver can turn it up defensively if Miami starts shooting better from 3. |

Man,no complaints at all, but MPJ 2 for 11 from 3 is not something he deserved. All sorts of scrubs were putting 6 for 9 from 3 in these PO's but not MPJ. I hope we see 1 or 2 games where he goes 9 for 11 from 3 and not 2 for 11.

I don't want to get too confident after one game, but this already feels much easier for the Nuggets to get high percentage shots without the likes of Gobert, Ayton, or AD roaming freely in the paint. AG destroying the Heat midget lineup is going to be a massive issue for Miami. |
