They can say whatever the hell they want while Jokic is carrying the O'Brien and the Russell trophies through the streets of Denver on a parade float. I like the optimism, but until Nuggets win their championship, it is nothing more than cockiness. There’s the small matter of getting past the Lakers, then beating the Celtics who have home court and are favored to win the chip. It’s a tough task, for sure. And if anyone thinks the Heat will upset the Celtics, I have some South Florida swampland to sell. soooo... Heat were 7th in regular season, Celtics were 2nd Lakers were 7th, Nuggets were 1st Celtics, in your opinion, are pretty much unbeatable in this series, and Nuggets-Lakers is coin flip? and I don't want to hear about "this is different Lakers team". no its not. LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, Dennis Schroder, Lonnie Walker, Troy Brown Jr are there whole freaking season. in other words, guys who made playin Lakers team into title contender are: Jarred Vanderbilt, Rui Hachimura and DeAngelo Russell. You can add Malik Beasley and Tristant Thompson on that list. Are you freaking kidding me?! These Lakers needed OT to beat Minnesota at home in must win game. Minnesota was without Gobert btw. So, since end of regulation, these are centers Lakers faced: Karl Anthony Towns, Xavier Tillman and Kevon Looney. These are centers that made Anthony Davis impenetrable fortress under the rim. This is list of centers Lakers are going to face against Nuggets: Nikola 2 times MVP best player in the world f***ing Jokic! Lakers have nothing, and I mean nothing outside of wholesome referees help that can hurt Nuggets. Nuggets are best team in the West, they have been best team in the West whole season and thats not going to change. Just because Ramona Shelburn all time Embiid lover, and Marc Spears who hates Nuggets cause Jokic doesn't want to give him interview, pick Lakers, that doesn't change the fact that Nuggets are not better, but far far better team and will win this series. I fully expect Nuggets not only to win game 1, but to give Lakers same beating Wolves and Suns experienced. |

Gallo and Lawson actually took the Lakers to the 7 and were one quarter away from beating them. it can be argued they played LA better than any other Nugget team. Not just that - we were the 6th seed, they were the 3rd seed. It was a big deal to take them to 7. This current WCF roster is much better than 2009. That team relied on inside muscle and mid-rangers, whereas our current squad has far more dimension on offense, and more pugnacious attitude on defense. |
