Just great energy all-around. Everyone brought their lunch box today. I thought KCP really set the tone defensively early in the game and the entire team responded. AG was locked in in the second half.

Honsetly, the starters have basically won all their minutes throughout this series.
Phoenix won game 3 and 4 because of their bench. The bench still lost their minutes tonight, I did wish we would have at least tried Watson/Zeke up 15 throughout the game or alter the rotation so that it is Jokic staggered with the bench.

I really wish Zeke and Peyton got out there too. My only concern with game 6 is our bench.
However - if BB drives to the hoop 10+ times, we should be fine.

Malone really good tonight. What I still don’t get is the “don’t trust rookies” thing. Christian Braun is our new KCP/Brown guy and he’s playing amazing

If you can't give Murray a ton of credit for that win, I can't take your opinion on basketball serious. It's as simple as that. He was fantastic the entire 2nd half in every aspect of basketball. If him and Jokic play like that, the Nuggets are unbeatable. Murray was also one of the reasons why we lost games 3 & 4 |

I'm definitely having some bad memories of PDX 2019 - blew them out at Ball, and then lost 2 straight.
I feel a TON better about our guys this time around tho - but nonetheless - take this momentum and STOMP Phoenix (much how we did against PDX in 2021, game 6).
I had said early on that Monty Williams never adjusts - boy, was I wrong. Dude came out with a defensive-first lineup in games 1 and 2 - got desperate - and went all-in on offense the next 3.
Tonight, the Suns struggled to get 75 points up, through 3 quarters - unlike Sunday night, where they almost got to 100 by the third. Altitude usually doesn't factor in hard until the 4th quarter - the defense I saw was just much better.
I don't think Monty has much left to throw out at us now? As far as bench mins go, as I said before the game - BB needs to drive 10+ times. As long as he does that, we'll keep the bench mins even or win them outright.

Definitely going to watch this game again. It started 4:10 AM local time, I had to fight through the bad hotel Wi-Fi first quarter until I used my phones hotspot. We checked out at the hotel at 6:30 and I had to pack my bag, get a shower and talk to the future wifey in the meantime, starting midway through the 3rd 😁
