If you can't give Murray a ton of credit for that win, I can't take your opinion on basketball serious. It's as simple as that. He was fantastic the entire 2nd half in every aspect of basketball. If him and Jokic play like that, the Nuggets are unbeatable. True, Murray had an excellent second half, but it served to offset a putrid first half. Overall, he was more than okay in the game. But not a star. |

See this is the stuff where you just show your bias. The Nuggets were up 3 at half. Murray consistently generated phenomenal shots for the Nuggets the entire 2nd half. He was incredible in the 2H as was Jokic. No bias. He was straight garbage. We were up by 21 in the 4th when he was 3 for 10 fg and 0 for 2 from 3. That's straight garbage. After that it was just garbage time and it's easy to play even you're up by 20+ bro you're really exposing yourself as a box score watcher here. |

That's all he did in the 3Q. Didn't force shots. Made the right reads. And it lead to a blowout win. |

In the first 4 minutes and 10 seconds of the 3rd quarter they were up 16.
Murray had 5 points and 2 assists (both were 3s) in that span. That was the game. Generated 11 points on his own.

The only reason we were not up by 15 in the first half was Murray. And I know it's difficult to support garbage play night after night. I hope you have a few good nights too. I'm a big Murray fan but I can fully admit he was complete and utter garbage in the 1st half and he's really been sinking us at times this series. He's still streaky and that seems like something he'll never shaky sadly but his decision making and the looks he created in the 2nd half were great. It sucks when the shots aren't falling but that combined with the poor decision making is brutal .. in the 2nd half he just played his game. Minimized the mistakes. Also we should finally put to bed the obsession with +/- after this game. It doesn't work in small sample sizes. I'm not sure what Bruce Brown's is but outside of Joker is was easily the 2nd best player in this game for Denver. MPJ had his moments but Brown with an A++ performance. Someone like Gordon probably blows him away in +/- for no reason. |

The starters were all + Jokic/KCP +18, Murray +23, MPJ +24, AG +27
Bench all negative. Yes, even Bruce was a -2 in a game where he scored 25 on 7-11 shooting.

Yeah it just doesn't work with small sample sizes. Bench was fine this game. Brown an absolute monster. Murray/Gordon sunk us in the first half. Second half they cleaned things up and Jokic decided to go full MVP mode. Booker became human with the same defense he's faced all series. If you look at every single game .. it's crazy how much better the looks have been for Denver. We generate such better quality looks consistently all series. It's why the past 2 games were even within reach despite Booker's play. You honestly just gotta give PHX credit if they do somehow pull this off. |

But god bless Landry Shamet. Our damn mvp tonight. It was about f***ing time that someone punked Jamal and pissed him off. Jamal came out far too nervous and was second-guessing himself. Shamet and the suns got cocky and started talking - what a stupid decision - but I’m so grateful.
I’ve never seen a series turn so fast. And it was about time - this should have been over tonight - but I’m just glad someone slapped us and woke us the f**k up. We deserved it - and those suns-fucks certainly deserved what came.
