Murray and MPJ f***ing killed us in that half. This is the problem with Murray and it's what I said before the series started. His ceiling is as high as any superstar in the league. His floor is this. No other stars floors are this low. And it's because Murray cannot get free points. He has to work for everything. Embarrassing half. Disgusted. Yeah but he's missing makeable shots too. Like he missed that wide open 3. If he hits that and doesn't take that dumb shot to end the half he's 2-6. If he grabs another bucket it's not even that brutal of a half. What makes Murray's floor low is just his ability to not only get those free points but he just has stretches where he straight up misses shots that a shooter like him should hit. Nuggets missed a huge opportunity that half. If they take care of the ball, hit the glass, and MPJ/Murray can both hit 1 of there open shots and the Nuggets are in a great spot right now. |

Jokic leading us with 13 points on 12 shots (6 - 12) is not gonna get the job done. Joker still missed some easy shots he makes blindfolded in the regular season.

MPJ has been bad, but he isn't alone So much of MPJ being good is dependent on the Nuggets having a healthy offensive process. When the ball sticks like it has tonight, MPJ doesn't get open shots and then forces shots whenever he touches the ball because he's not involved at all if not. |

Phoenix took 53 shots in that half. Denver 38. The fact we're only down 2 is nuts.
Suns 9 offensive rebounds. Nuggets 0.

Outside of Murray/MPJ the rebounding was the biggest miss. Ayton gobbling up boards and PHX destroying us on the offensive glass is something that shouldn't happen. Nuggets with 0 offensive boards and PHX 9 .. honestly lucky PHX is ice cold/Denver's D has been really good or that could have been ugly.

25-20 in rebounding for Phoenix, 13-9 in assists, shooting poorly... its miracle we are only 2 down.

We saw this in the Minnesota series and it's the biggest concern for the Nuggets right now...teams are able to completely take Denver out of their offense by pressuring Murray on the ball.
Phoenix gave him barely any space in that half in PnR actions.

Problem with Jamal is that his floor is lower than Campazzo's floor. He's much worse defender than Campazzo and 1 for 7 shooting is also worse then Campazzo's shooting numbers. 3 assists playing with Jokic to 2 TO's is as bad as it gets. I hope he's much better in the second half or we're loosing this game. Also MPJ with his shi* talking all the time and playing like pussy out there is sickening

At least I'm not the only one seeing it. Murray has to learn how to play against ball pressure. Use their aggressiveness against them.

Dude wasn’t driving at all and shot quick and deep 3s. I think he’ll adjust and play much better. |
