Murray was doubled in the PnR and the Wolves rotated back when he would pass out.
I don't know we need to dig into our narratives and can't acknowledge Finch and the Wolves did a good job schematically and effort wise.

First quarter in the PnR Murray was doubled 2 times and I'm being generous because 1 of them was just to get a switch (Green posting up JMac) Second quarter it was 4 times. Most of the time the Wolves played up at the level, Murray found success. He had 1 bad turnover on a double screen because KAT of all people made a heads up play. The issue with Murray in this game was the ball pressure from NAW and the face guarding of him off the ball. Go back and watch it. Murray was toasting the Wolves when they played up. |

I don’t know what screen anyone is watching to say that Murray wasn’t doubled lol. Murray’s best came in the first half, when he had his mini flurry. After that, minny went all in and doubled him on the PnR. MPJ couldn’t hit anything until the final 3 mins. I agree that more endurance would help here - but this is also why Ryan Blackburn is telling people that Reggie is going to get Mins tonight (so Murray can rest). Others guys gotta make their damn shots. Minny gambled that other guys couldn’t step up, and they were right. |
