Why are you guys assuming that we will be rusty and lose game 1? Playoff Jokic is a different animal; same with Jamal Nobody is saying that to my knowledge. We will be rusty, but are more likely than not to win G1. If we do lose a game at home in this series, though, we are most vulnerable to do that in G1. It would be a wake up call, but mean we are likely facing a 6-game series or even 7. |

Has Portland fired him yet? No, but a trade could happen a-la Doc Rivers to LAC from Boston. Murray and Adelman to Blazers for Lillard and Chauncey. Picks and filler involved too if it happens.* *(I’m making this up, but Adelman grew up in Rip City when his dad coached there, and CB grew up here). |

Why the hell would we want Chauncey and his 60-104 record? Lots of fans want Chauncey here. I’m not among them, then again, I like to think of what could happen, not what I want to have happen. Fact is, if we flop in the playoffs and big changes are made, I could see us making mistakes. And I could see Portland wanting to rid themselves of Chauncey’s and Lillard’s contracts when in a rebuilding situation. Adelman’s dad took Blazers to NBA Finals twice, so he fits. Just something to ponder. |

Seems like I'm in the minority but I don't really care how they do it .. as long they win the series. Obviously you wanna win game 1 and put this thing away early but T-Wolves do have some talent and we know the Nuggets love to play up/down to the competition. A series W and everyone staying healthy is all I'm focused on. Zero excuses for the Nuggets to lose this one. It'd take a shitty performance by Malone, Murray, MPJ, Jokic defensively etc. Nuggets at 80% should be able to win this series.
Losing to the Wolves in round 1 might be the thing that finally does NT in lol

Gordon
Murray
Two bigs in the starting unit, and you keep AG on Edwards.
This series would end swiftly in 4 games. But ya know…. Malone.

KAT isn't in basketball shape yet, he is still effective on offense but damn he is slower than smoke off s**t. Gobert has a bad back, slow mo is slow mo, and Conley is old. Ant is the only starter that they have who can play fast. Run these puppies right out of the gym.

Hopefully we set the tone early. Will tell you a lot about the team. We'll know in the first 5 minutes if the Nuggets are ready for the playoffs or not. Honestly, as usual it all comes down to Jokic. KCP, MPJ and AG typically always play hard anyway. |
