I have been overly worried about both Phoenix and Los Angeles. Was pretty much confident we’d beat Minny with ease. Look. Rock isn’t taken seriously here for good reason. He’s been crying Wolf about the Nuggets for many, many years. So it’s easy to take this concern about Boston lightly. Rock is a Nervous Nellie. A Debbie Downer. A NT Troll. This time he might be right. I think he is. GO HEAT. Boston has a horrible home record, a rookie head coach, and not nearly enough size to deal with Jokic. They dropped 2 against the Hawks, 3 against the Sixers, and 3 against the Heat. Chances are extremely low they'd be consistent enough to even give Denver a series. This all makes sense. And yet when we play them, especially in Boston, it’s rarely good. When was our last win in Boston?

Then why would DraftKings and other oddsmakers make Boston a -180 favorite (my guess) to win Finals if they beat Miami in Game 7? Boston won 57 regular season games in the Eastern Conference. The EC was a better conference than the WC this season. Had a winning inter-conference record. Boston faced a Denver team with momentum that had a long layoff from semifinal series to finals. In 2007. Red Sox swept Rockies. GO HEAT!

The line is as much a reflection of their anticipation of how the public will bet as it is a prediction of which team will win or an analysis of which is better. The 2007 Rockies lost because the Red Sox were drastically better at every single position except maybe 1st base and left field. If you listed the top 10 players in that series maybe 2 of them are Rockies and maybe 1 is in the top 5. The Nuggets have the best player on planet earth in Jokic and, with Butler's performances in the last two games, arguably the 2nd best playoff performer so far this year in Murray.

Odds are set where the market is, or where there is equal amount of $$$ wagered on both sides. You’re saying the market will be wrong by favoring Boston. And you will be right again? Open several online betting app accounts and take their promos to bet on the Nuggets, if you are so confident. Or if you already have an online account, bet on the Nuggets, unless you do what I do and bet the other team as an emotional hedge.

Last win in Boston…March 2019 We were never a 1 seed until we got the 1 seed. We were never in the Finals until we got the Finals. We were never able to beat the Lakers is a series until we beat the Lakers in a series. We never swept a team until we swept a team. Boston has no size, no coach, and no heart. They're not going to win game 6 against the Heat, and even if they do it's not guaranteed they win game 7, and even if they do the Nuggets will beat them.

We have great karma against Boston, when you consider broncos vs patriots. Monfort energy sunk the rockies’s karma.
With that - I think gabe Vincent will be back for game 6, and Miami will close.

We have the best player in the world. We have the size. They have a rookie coach. They have a horrible home record. And, most importantly, they still have to win 2 more games against a team that has already beaten them 3 times before any of this even matters. All you have are fears.

We have a lot going for us. The Boston/Miami series doesn’t change that fact. Unfortunately, we have a lot less going for us against Boston, without home court advantage, than against Miami WITH home court.
It’s not only rock that has a bad feeling about this (to quote Han Solo in Star Wars IV: A New Hope).

We split with the Wolves, Lakers, and Suns this regular season.

Miami needs a disappointing series from Denver to win a ring. Boston only need for a few guys to have a couple disappointing games to win. If the Nuggets play like they have been and everyone shows up it doesn't really matter. That's how I see it. Like even if you waved a magic wand and made regular season Murray appear I still think were far and away the favorites against Miami. I think you can beat Miami with a regular Jokic performance. Just won't be as much room for mistakes vs Boston. Assuming post comeback the nerves/softness have improved for Boston.
No reason to panic no matter how this series finishes up. You certainly would prefer Miami tho and it's not even close. Forget about how Boston plays at home .. the Nuggets are absolutely elite at home. We want HC.

He thought Portland and Utah were going to be the top 2 seeds, too.
