Thinking LAL can win in Oakland is greedy. The choice is GSW after 7 or LAL after 6.
But Ring convinced me

Even if the Warriors win in a Game 7...think about how much energy and effort it takes to come back from down 3-1. Back to back 7 game series. Wiggins is banged up now. It's just such a big ask. I don't care who we play. Both are really tough and offer the more difficult matchups compared to Minny/Phoenix. But if it goes 7, both teams should be dead for that Game 1. And if the Nuggets can take advantage of that, it makes the rest of the series so much easier to win. All you'd have to do is split the rest.

Lakers - They don't shoot the 3 very well so we could probably load up in the paint and force them to make outside shots, on the flip-side I expect Lebron and AD to get favorable calls and they are gonig to be putting their heads down to get to the rim so I worry about foul trouble for Jokic and AG, and I worry how there physicallity will affect DEN on the offensive end. GS - They don't have a lot of size and Jokic seemed to really figure out GS last year towards the end of that series and he seems even better now, so I think Jokic could have huge series, and we definitely have size to bother GS defensively but we've always struggled vs. 3 pt shooting so I worry we give up to many 3's to GS.

the Warriors will run Jokic ragged by forcing him to defend in space for the entire series. even though we'll still win the series, I fear it will be a Pyrrhic victory and he'll have nothing left for the finals.
f**k game 7. I'm rooting for the Lakers to end the series tonight.

No way the Lakers can win game 7 in Oakland. The thing is, Warriors can’t either. They play their home games in San Francisco now.

I’d prefer the Lakers.
The Warriors are older but Steph hasn’t slipped significantly, Green is still the same guy in some games, Thompson can still get very hot (he torched us last spring), and their speed of play (which I enjoy watching, just not against the Nuggets) is a pain in the ass. And while Poole has been ass most of this season, he was really good against the Nuggets last spring and maybe playing the Nuggets would bring some of that out of him again. Their guards will always get shots they like, and if they hit them, its trouble.
Lebron has this game to game challenge of trying to stay on the court. He manages to do it most of the time because he’s really smart about basketball and knows his body (after Davis went down on Wednesday he knew they were losing that game and stopped playing hard), but he’s way more over the hill than Curry or Green or Thompson (although the latter has been bad a bunch of recent games). The concern about him just putting his head down etc. is overblown because he can’t do that with regularity and he knows it. There have been a couple of times in this series when he revved it up into high gear for 2 minutes, then was so exhausted that he had to be immediately subbed out and on the bench he didn’t want to talk to anyone or even watch the game — he needed to completely shut his body down for at least 5 minutes to get himself back together. Overall, he’s still very good — he has fantastic hands, he’s stronger than most players, he shoots it decently, he’s excellent at reading the court — and he can be excellent for stretches. But not whole games. As for Davis — one never knows from game to game. Otherwise, they have some decent role players but not enough unless Davis and James are really good.
Since I go to some games, it’s annoying to play the Lakers since there are so many Lakers fans in the building. On the flip side, beating the crap out of the Lakers would be some very sweet revenge for getting beat by them many time over many decades.

If I have time, I might go back and watch the 4th quarter of the 76er-Celtics game because I’m curious how the 76ers choked it away.

I wanted to play the Lakers, mainly because I do not think they will hold up and also because Curry is so dangerous. I am unsure who I want to face now, especially with Wiggins banged up. I am going for the Warriors this evening.
As for Knicks/Heat, I have to pull for Jimmy whose mom kicked him out the house at age 13. Heat probably get swept in conference finals, but when there is Jimmy, there is a chance.

yeah, rough game for him. did go 8-8 from the line
unlike a luxury certain overpaid 3rd options have, the Knicks don't have the talent to beat the Heat if he's a non-factor offensively.

I know but this the elimination game for Knicks and he's 1 for 10 fg and 0 for 3 from distance. Also in 30 mins, only 1 board, 1 dish, 2 TO's and 5 fouls. He has to be better, but when Randle sucks like this then nothing matters I guess lol

eh, winning an elimination game on the road in the playoffs is the hardest thing to do in the NBA. Brunson was ready for this moment, but RJ's impressive playoff run doesn't become invalid just because he came up short tonight.

Brunson after playing a Booker-esque near unstoppable offensive performance, gave up the ball in the clutch when he had Hart open at the type of the key.
can't be too mad at him after that all-time carry job I just witnessed.
