I still have PTSD from our series two years ago and now they have durant. I’d be shocked if we got to game 6 in a series where MPJ was playing with a broken back (which our wonderful walmart doctors failed to recognize) and William Barton was our second best player, I wouldn't put too much stock into it. True. There really shouldn't be much similarity between the two series. Just to go down the list by minutes played, here's a comparison Then Jokic 134 MPJ - 125 Gordon - 118 Monte - 110 Facu - 105 Rivers - 103 Barton - 83 JaGreen - 71 Milsap - 30 Wolves series Murray - 192 Jokic - 185 MPJ - 180 KCP - 165 Gordon - 163 Brown - 135 JeGreen - 113 Braun - 63 Jordan - 10 Even if one assumes MPJ is just as bad as last time, that supporting cast is about as different as it gets. Suns are different too. Paul's a couple years older and their defense was better with Craig, Crowder, Bridges and Cam. Oh and we also have home court advantage.

We either win Suns series in 7 (altitude and home court kick in) or lose it in 6. I don’t see us winning it any other way.
NBA wants a Suns-Dubs WCF, so we have to fight that too.

I know this board is always pessimistic - but you’ze guyz are far too pessimistic about this series.

so if it's Denver, Phoenix, Lakers and Golden State in the West Semis... it's definitely the four best/playoff proven teams which is good.
it takes the pressure off us because every expert says those are the three teams that are going to the finals (one of them, obviously). being the underdog is absolutely what we need for the next series and I'm still confident this Nuggets team will win it all.

Unless the Grizzlies beat the Lakers - those other 3 teams are VERY OLD. Makes me love our chances even more.

If we lost to Wolves like the Bucks lost to 8 seeds Heat 4:1 that would have been something for NT lol. I wanted Jimmy desperately from the time he left Wolves. Kings are stalling like on 4 out of 5 cylinders. Draymond fuc*ing Green beat them with his scoring and taking Sabonis to school. Mike Brown failed big way in this series for how he used Sabonis

Can't finish around the rim at all

The other thing will be if Boston loses to Hawks tonight. Hawks have a chance if the "midget" plays right way and feeds Bogdanovic who by the way being guarded by Brown or Smart has TS 72.2%

He's bigger and more skilled that Looney or Draymond as a scorer and they should have used that as it was their only advantage in this series. Fox is not better than Steph and comparing the other players with Klay or Pool is waste of time

Everyone always compares Sabonis to Jokic as like a poor mans version but you're seeing in this series that it's not even close. Sabonis isn't as strong, doesn't have as good of touch or footwork. Looney is too big for him and Draymond is too physical. Sabonis goes away from physicality whereas Jokic embraces it. Sabonis is a solid 3rd option. You're not winning much with him as your #2. He's played soft this entire series.

He's played soft this entire series. They're comparing him to Jokic because he's trying to facilitate similar to Jokic. Saying that somebody who shot 61.5% on 12 FGA (this is elite, and similar to Jokic) can't score is not true. He played soft 100% but it was up to the coach to ask more from him. That's the only advantage they had in this series

streamable.com/3pkib8not to rag on Giannis but imagine Embiid or Jokic being denied an open lane to the basket and being like "I give up, you guys try something".

I'm going to have to watch Game 1 on delay
