Robinson: .2502 3. Jokic: .2488 4: Chamberlain: .2480 Passed Wilt. He has also widened his lead on Jordan in BPM, closed the gap for 1st in PER, gained on DJ for 2nd in TS. Of course the season is young and he could fall down these lists just as easily as he rises on them, but it's fun to watch in real time anyway.

Jokic didn't actually get 10th in blocks, because I was mixing sources for my lists and the one I was using for blocks didn't have Bobby Jones on it. Bobby Jones is actually 4th, 1 block ahead of Birdman and English, so that knocks everybody else down one more spot on the list. Jokic is 11th.

All time career WS/48 1. Jordan - .2505 2. Robinson - .2502 3. Jokic - .2500 4. Chamberlain - .2480
Jokic is charging up the leaderboard this year. He began the year at .2474.
For the season he's at a .3272, which blows away his previous career-best of .3085 from last year. For a full season mark it would be the best for any NBA player since Kareem in 1971-72 (.3399).
His PER of 34.58 would be the best ever recorded, breaking his own record of 32.85 from 2021-22.
His BPM of 15.69 would shatter his own all time record of 13.72, also from 2021-22. Last year he was at 13.01; LeBron is the only other guy to turn in a season of 13 or better and he only did it once.

Joker presently leading the NBA in total points, rebounds, and assists. That's insane lol. He's played more games than Giannis or Embiid or he wouldn't be leading in points, but still, pretty nuts. Also leads in:

thats average. you get 5 months during a season(not sure are they giving it for April... if they do, its 6). over span of 50 years, thats 250 awards. thats 16 per team(you divide it by 15, not 30, cause both conferences get one). Nuggets have 13. OK, Minnesota and Memphis are in the league shorter, but overall average number is still below 20, so 13 is still not bad.
ps. LeBron alone has 39, lol

Chances are, we'll never witness anything like Jokic again in our lifetimes. These last 5 years or so are something we'll never see again. Great players will come and go, but guys that stand shoulder to shoulder with the greatest players that ever played the game are extremely rare.

Great players will come and go, but guys that stand shoulder to shoulder with the greatest players that ever played the game are extremely rare. True. Appreciate what we have. A true superstar alltimer who does what true superstars are supposed to do, namely make their teammates better and affect their stats positively (not just their own stats as Melo did). Example after example are evidence of this. AG became a true borderline AllStar after being traded here to play alongside Jokic as the perfect fit (not counting recent shooting troubles). Reggie Jackson has thrived alongside Jokic, playing as a starter while Murray is out. Barton at least was serviceable, if not good, in his final year here. He gets traded and is exposed as a fringe shooter and player, and is out of the league. Which brings up an issue regarding Murray. Given how well RJ has done playing with Joker, does this suggest maybe that Murray isn’t quite the star player he seems to be? That his success is largely related to Jokic’s skills and gravity, especially in the playoffs? I’m not saying Murray is no better than Jackson or isn’t a borderline AllStar himself when right and healthy. I’m saying Jokic is so great that he makes his teammates who are merely good players or solid roleplayers look much better than they’d look on almost any other team. That’s the most important Jokic Effect, IMO, and why he’s deserving and likely to receive more MVP awards in his career.
