there are some "insiders" here in Serbia claiming Jokic wants to play on World Cup.
I know some of you guys don't care, others wants him to rest, but Jokic took two significant leaps in his career. first one, after OG 2016. when he become star in NBA. second one, this season, after EC 2022. when he become unquestionable best player in the league and NBA champion.
that being said, none of the "insiders" is someone I fully trust, so might be smoke screen. I don't think Jokic made the decision yet. world cup starts August 25th, so Jokic could have 6 weeks of rest and then 3 weeks to prepare for competition... not out of the question.

the last stat is in many ways the most impressive one. for a 3 level scorer to be nearly as efficient as Gobert and DAJ - two prolific dunkers incapable of scoring outside of the paint, is something else.

One more that I'm sure nobody at ESPN has ever seen All time career NBA defensive box plus minus: 1. David Robinson - 3.05 2. Nate McMillan - 2.94 3. Mark Eaton - 2.91 4. Draymond Green - 2.91 5. Jokic played his 600th career game as a Nugget.
AG played his 600th career game tonight as well. Cool that they've synchronized for the moment.

107 triple doubles in 600 games. unreal.
he is recording triple double once in every 5.6 games. Oscar Robertson and Luka Doncic recording triple double once in every 5.75 games Magic needed 6.5 games for triple double only one "better" among top 20 is Westbrook who records triple double every 5.55 games
every other player among top 20 is well above 10 games(Fat Lever needed 17.5 games).
Also, Jokic has least minutes per game among top 20. He plays 30.8, Fat Lever is closest with 31.7... for reference, Westbrook plays 34.3 and LeBron 38.1
Interestingly, looking at that list, LeBron is first in total points, first in total minutes played, second in total rebounds(behind Wilt), second in total assists(behind Kidd)... Whatever Jokic achieves in his career, and I hope this championship is only tip of the iceberg as he is already consider top 20 player of all time(holly fvck), there is another level of greatness, achieved only by Kareem... and then another level, with LeBron and Jordan. Just think of it, Jokic is better then CP3, and if you can measure greatness, difference between CP3 and Jokic is same as difference between Jokic and Kareem. And then, there is another level!!!
