Jokic has shot 50% or better in 50 consecutive games. That's an NBA record.
He has shot under 50% just one time this whole season.

The thing that cracks me up about Perkins, is that he basically admitted that he stopped taking hard shots as a Celtic because he wanted to maintain his high field goal avg and break the Celtics record. Good for him - it doesn't mean that Jokic is desperate like him for a record lol.

Simmons is excellent as usual This guy was even better... But they let Jokic drawing plays... the level of trust your coach needs to have to allow this, holly s**t.

Indeed! Jokic intelligently passed the ball to a wide open mpj because he has to stat pad lol

Simmons is hilarious and I love his analysis.
As for Jokic drawing plays, I noticed a moment like that on the other end. GrizzLies inbound from the side (directly across from the Nuggets bench, I think late in the first half) and Jokic was very clearly signaling all the defensive assignments, very similar to the "it's gonna be a lob watch the lob" thing early in the season. And you could see the dejection in the Grizz inbounder who was like ... oh, they took that away, they took that away, they took that away, and was left with just a generic inbound up top that didn't turn into much.

he is doing that on offensive end for quite some time already. last 2 minutes, Murray is getting the ball over, Jokic is next to him and he is pointing other guys where he wants them. its interesting he almost stopped doing that this year, which means AG, KCP and MPJ are all on same page. tells you a lot how much chemistry is important, and even more, how freakishly perfect fit KCP is.

Draymond called Perk lazy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7A1kteI3W04&ab_channel=TheVolumeNow, its Draymond, he is always on the side of active players, as he should be. But I would loooooooooove if he dissected Nuggets game on his channel. That would be best thing ever. No chance he'd do it though.

Updated. He might get Melo for 3rd in points next season. He won't if he scores at this season's pace, but he will if he scores at least season's pace.
Should pass Issel for 1st in rebounds before midseason.
Should also pass Issel's NBA/ABA Nugs steals total for 4th, if just barely.
Will pass Blair Rasmussen for 10th in steals next year. If he has as many blocks as two years ago he'll also get Danny Schayes for 9th, but he'd tie him at this year's pace.
He just passed TR Dunn for 5th in minutes. He should pass both Byron Beck and Carmelo Anthony to get to 3rd next year.
Should pass Michael Adams for 4th in 3 pointers next year.

what about franchise playoff milestones? I don't have all the stats handy but I do know Jokic only needs to play 11 more playoff games to tie the franchise record (Alex English played 59), so it's a safe bet he's already near the top of most of the stat categories
