Nene is the GOAT Brazilian NBA player. I put him above Barbosa and Varejao.

At this point it's almost a sure thing that Jokic will finish this season leading the NBA in VORP, BPM, WS/48, and PER for the fourth season in a row.
The only other guys to lead the NBA in all four categories four or more years in a row were LeBron (5 seasons from 2009-13), Jordan (6 seasons from 1988-93), and Kareem (4 seasons from 1975-79).

I was actually living in Los Angeles during two of Kareem’s 4 seasons (I was 23-25), and remember them well. For me to be able in this life to witness Kareem’s prime, Bill Walton at UCLA, John Wooden’s coaching, and now Jokic’s prime makes me a very lucky basketball fan.

No, I was living there. Grew up in Bay Area and was originally a Dubs fan. Was very happy when Rick Barry’s team upset the Bullets to win the championship in 1975.

so you changed team you are cheering for? don't get me wrong, but you Americans are very strange ppl I really wasn’t into pro basketball that much in the 60’s and 70’s. I was more into baseball, and was a huge SF Giants fan and, later, A’s fan. I was a fan of two Bay Area MLB teams at the same time. When I moved to Denver for good in 1993, I mentally divorced myself from A’s and Giants to become a Rockies fan from the very beginning of the team. Thought it would be fun to root for the team where I planned to live for a long time, which also was why I adopted the Nuggets in 1985, the first full year I ever lived in Denver (I left twice after the first time living here, and came back both times. This is known locally as “Chief Niwot’s curse”, but I digress). What a mistake I made with the Rockies! The Giants won three World Series titles in the 2010’s and generally have done far better than woeful Rox. Same could have been said about Warriors in 2010’s to 2022, of course, but Nuggets have provided me far more entertainment over the years than the local baseball team, so I have never regretted my Nuggets fandom. Americans are a mobile people, so it’s not really that strange for sports fans to change their allegiances based on where they live, though not that common.

I was Partizan Belgrade fan all my life. I never lived and probably will never live in Belgrade I've never been in Denver, and I'm obviously Nuggets fan I have a friend who is Hajduk Split fan. Now, since old country fall apart, and Croats are not our best friends, you would think he changed his favorite team? Nope. There is saying here in Serbia, "you never change your religion and team you cheer for". btw, he was born here in Serbia, but his father was Hajduk fan, so he become one(I started cheering for Partizan cause of my uncle).

Porter has passed Adams on the 3 point list. Joker needs 35 points to knock Carmelo Anthony out of 3rd. I'll do a big update at that point.

Jokic's VORP is now at 10.1 this year. This is the first time a player has topped 10 since LeBron posted a 10.34 in 2008-09.
The only players in history to top 10.0 in VORP: Dr J (in the ABA, once) Michael Jordan (6 times) David Robinson (once) LeBron James (twice) Nikola Jokic (this year)
