We are acting like we are not missing someone who can drop 50 with no free throws and no turnovers.
Take Booker or Paul, Bridges and Payne out of Phoenix and tell me how many games would they win?
It doesn't matter that we're missing 2 starting guards. We're still a better team than the Suns. But if Jokic plays even with Ayton that's a huge problem and inexcusable. I know everybody can have a bad game so somebody else needs to step up and that's MPJ. But he's not ready for it yet so Jokic has to find his rhythm in every game We are not better than them under these circumstances.

The Suns have the 2nd, 3rd and 4th best players in the series. Pretty clear why they're favored and why they're better.
MPJ has to step up and Barton is needed so bad it's not even funny.

Nash effect.
When your best player is also the most unselfish it trickles down.

Maybe one day we have our big 3 healthy in the playoffs. Special things would happen

Congratulations to Nikola Jokic and Denver Nuggets. Well deserved. Hopefully this award will be a stepping stone for him and our beloved team. Larry O'Brien trophy is next! Let's go Nuggets!

We are not a better team than the Suns, but I’m glad we have the MVP on OUR team. Healthy yes we are As is, agreed. We aren’t better than many teams without 3 of our top guards.

if I understood correctly, since he was all-NBA last season and is 100% certain to also be all-NBA this season, that would have likewise made him eligible for the supermax.

Can Jokic accept/ask/request less than that? I mean do we must give him supermax like that or does the player can accept less?
Don't jump on me for asking this, i wish every single player get as much money as they can but i am just asking is that an option?

I think that FO should offer him the supermax and i wish that he asks for less in order to give the team better cap to work with on the path to championship/championships. Because, let's be real, just like with the Giannis and the Bucks and his 2 x MVP's, it will not make any difference in elite free agents see Denver as a place to go. We also have Jamal on big max and MPJ on upcoming max. Anyway, like i said, i wish every single player to get as much money as they can, but at the same time i wish that we have as much good players as we can down the road.
