Regarding a wing who can defend - I want to see what Whit and Nnaje can do. Nnaje seemed to have good lateral quickness out there. There is no chance he’s the kind of player you want guarding Doncic and his ilk. That said, Nnaji looked good, and if that persists, he may be mobile enough to play PF and give the Nuggets more length and rim protection at that position. I hope Malone isn’t going to stubbornly stick to starting Millsap as a 6’7” PF who can’t jump as that really exposes the Nuggets to scoring around the basket (and/or fouling to prevent it). The Warriors started Saturday’s game with an obvious game plan to repeatedly drive to the basket. Their coaching staff clearly thought the Nuggets starting lineup didn’t have enough length, athleticism and verticality to prevent scoring efficiently on drives to the basket.

Kudos to Giannis who just signed a new contract with the Bucks. Respect for not going to a big market and for trying to win with his team.

Christian Wood line tonight: 23 mins 27 points 2-6 3 pointers 10 rebounds 22+
$13 million per year ($3 more than Millsap). Sigh.
I’ll stop bitching about it - but wood is the one that got away, not grant.

Dude - we could have afforded $13 easily - especially if we did an S&T with Detroit (easily could have happened with plum or grant signing)

Are double sign and trades allowed?

I'm not sure of the feasibility of a S+T when Christian Wood was a UFA and he had the right of refusal. it's hard to turn down a Texas team with their generous tax benefits.

We could have given him $20 and it would have been worth it. Money talks. I’m sorry I’m bitching about it - I love TC, but missing wood was big.

Are double sign and trades allowed? I’m pretty sure they are? If not, send a couple seconds to Detroit.

Brother.... sign and trade. Heck - when we lost iguodala, we still signed and traded for four, a lousy draft pick, and a bag of peanuts. No team will turn down a s&T as long as they get something.
