Can I start this now that the season is cancelled? Our roster: Nikola Jokic MAX 25 C Bird $29,542,010 Jamal Murray RK-MAX 23 PG Bird $29,250,000 Gary Harris 26 SG Bird $19,160,714 Will Barton 29 SG Bird $13,723,214 Jerami Grant 26 SF Bird $9,346,153 Michael Porter Jr. 22 PF Rookie $3,550,800 Monte Morris 25 PG Mini MLE $1,723,707 Keita Bates-Diop 24 SF MLE $1,663,861 Vlatko Cancar 23 SF MLE $1,517,981 I'm letting Plumlee and Craig walk.
Re-up Millsap to be the backup 5.
Needs are a scorer/shooters. I'd like to get a starting 3 from somewhere as well and shift Bart to the 2 or move Harris.
We won't be trading for a star, just will never happen under TC.
Also forget about booting Malone, not happening.

Fire Tim, Malone and let Plumlee walk and I'll never complain ever again.

We need to go find solid role players like Norman Powell. Guys who can contribute but may not cost a ton. We need so much help.
We were so close to being good. And it’s all gone. And this has nothing to do with corona.
Tim wirh his awful roster management
And malone with his awful coaching.
How do you even begin fixing this mess?
Please resign grant. And please find a way to get mpj confidence again. We can’t let him walk

Hey everyone. In light of the remainder of the NBA season being suspended, I just want to say that I hope everyone is well and take care of yourselves and your loved ones as best as possible.
Whether Covid-19 somehow becomes worse or the mass panic affects everyday operations, take care and be safe.
With regards to the off-season, I still think Craig has a spot on this team if Malone promises not to Anthony Carter him. Let Plumelee walk. That is about all that I can think of right now.

Things that will NOT occur:
- Malone will not be fired - TC will not trade for all-star to elite talent - TC will not be smart with money (it will be invested in overpaying guys he is loyal to that aren't that good) - A smart draft pick will not be made (it will be akin to drafting dough boy Tyler Lydon)

If they end up not playing the remaining regular season games and just go straight to the playoffs or cancel the season in full, it'll be crazy to see the financial ramifications. Salary cap would plummet from lost revenue for sure, but it'd be interesting to see the other dominoes that fall.

This is crazy. It's similar to SARS situation but can't remember how the league reacted back then. I hope all you guys go thru this untouched and healthy

www.nbadraft.net/players/leandro-bolmaro/ESPN.com | Jonathan Givony | Updated Feb. 16 24. Leandro Bolmaro, SG, Barcelona Height: 6-7 | Age: 19 Givony didn’t expound on what makes Bolmaro desirable for the Nuggets at No. 24, but his ESPN colleague Mike Schmitz had this to say in a December article: “A well-rounded athlete with a tireless motor and a flair inspired by fellow Argentinian Manu Ginobili, Bolmaro offers real versatility. He can play off of others as a slashing, cutting wing or function as a big point guard.” See Givony’s full mock draft. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- www.denverpost.com/2020/03/05/nuggets-nba-mock-drafts-2020/

If any one player gets sick enough to actually kick the bucket, I think the season will be over and the ramifications are unimaginable. On the other hand, if they all get well soon, people might be a little less freaked out about it. Might even give the playoffs a little ratings boost. Crazy to think about though. Fingers crossed it doesn't get any worse.

y'all want to blow up team chemistry why? Murray is what 22,Joker 24? They not even in prime yet.smh
Millsap, retiring in community so he will be back on the vet minimum I'm sure, team discount
zresign Grant and do the gamble approach again with the draft pick
MpJ and Bol improvement is the key so in 3 years when Joker 27Murray 25 MPJ will be 23 and Bol 22 and are solid rotation pieces with a core of Jokkc,Murray,Grant,Bol,Porter and then you add to bench.. The b e st has yet still to come for this group. so many are to narrowminded or have that NBA2k bball iq

is Bolmaro's defense NBA ready? because there's zero chance he would see the court otherwise.

Salary cap would plummet from lost revenue for sure I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see the owners and players come together to toss a revision on the CBA to keep the salary cap close to projections, because otherwise there will be basically no teams with any cap space, every significant FA will be stuck going back to their own team or taking like the midlevel or less, and almost every team will be in the tax just from guys already under contract. Nobody wants that. They might even do something like set the "official" salary cap to the level that was previously projected, but only pay out salaries at some scaled-down value like 90%. It would take both owner and player buyin, but I think they could come up with something that gave both sides what they'd want.

I strongly believe that some form of the playoffs will be played. I also think too much panic is being caused right now and things on the virus will settle quicker than we think.
But again - I think the nba and nhl will both come back this season, but perhaps straight to the playoffs. There’s also a circumstance where only the top four teams in each conference qualify for the playoffs with series being 3 or 5 games - pretty incredible that the Nuggets and avalanche both make that cut.
Overall though - I think there’s a 90% chance playoffs get played, in some form.
Please god let mason plumlee come down with a cold (that’s not coronavirus) one week before that potential series.

Yeah the season is not over. They'll probably cut some games but start back up in mid-April.
The town in Italy that was the epicenter of the outbreak no longer has any active cases.

yeah, I genuinely expect that in about a month -- right about when the regular season should have been ending -- we'll be down to "yeah, there are some cases, but it's not really that severe" levels and will start to see pro sports being played, though perhaps not with fans for a while after. Players + required personnel are a lot safer than 20,000 fans (those of you who know me on facebook have hopefully read my post on disease propagation.)

Heard from a source - nba is planning on coming back in 6 weeks, but no announcement is scheduled. We’ll see.
