Yup, and one of them is unprotected. Pretty bold for what's currently a lotto team.

What LeBron's crew is doing right now is f***ing embarrassing. Trying to strong arm a Lakers trade for AD before the deadline.
Now AD's dad bitching about how Boston isn't loyal (which is true, but aren't you forcing your way out a year and a half early?)
Stay strong NO!
Anybody but the Lakers for AD. This s**t is so weak.

It's just pathetic man. Something really needs to happen though. Silver needs to step in. You have a small market basically being forced to trade their best player and top 5 player to a huge market. All of this s**t that the media keeps leaking just continues to kill any leverage the Pelicans have. They basically have to take a s**t sandwich for AD simply because of Lebron and co. It's absolute crap. The Rich Paul/Lebron thing should not be allowed. It's a conflict of interest to the NBA. I really hope Demps just tells the Lakers to screw off and trades him to the Raptors for Siakam or something. You just need 1 GM to take the risk. I'd take Gary over Kuzma/Lonzo/Ingram. They're all average players at best. The Pelicans just need to force the Lakers hand. Call their bluff. You wanna wait another year for AD? Cool. Have fun wasting Lebrons age 35 season with nothing but crappy role players once again. I'm so sick of this s**t.

LeBron will be in his age-36 year if they have to wait to sign AD until when he's a FA.
Their leverage is not as strong as they like to pretend. They're f***ing desperate to get LeBron help immediately. If not at this deadline (it would be so dumb for NO to give in), in the summer. Their offer isn't going to change. LeBron doesn't want to play with these yahoos until he's 36.
f**k them. They've ran a dogshit organization for a decade now with outward arrogance that "we're the Lakers and you're not". They had three straight #2 picks and didn't end up with the best or second best player in any of those drafts.

Must be nice to mess up every decision and still get rewarded with top picks and free agents to mask your incompetence

All together now:
f**k THE LAKERS
(lol that they won't include picks and only two young players along with Lance/Rondo.)

Let that sink: The Chicago Bulls have waived Carmelo Anthony to open up a roster spot to acquire Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot

Lousy deal by Dallas. Porz and Doncic don’t have the same development windows - off by about a good 6 years.
With all the picks they gave up, they basically have forgone the attempt to build a team around doncic. A core of Porz and doncic will be great, but never a championship core.
They really needed to trade smith and Barnes for additional firsts and just suck for 2 years and collect prospects.
The knicks honestly made out like damn bandits.

How is Porzingis & Doncic's development window off by 6 years? Doncic is turning 20, and Porzingis is what like 23? How do you get 6 years from that?
I think they line up just fine. I'd be legitimate concerned about KP's health. I'm a big fan if he can stay healthy but at 7'3, even without a major injury, your still concerned. If KP can't stay healthy than you run the risk of pissing away a good chunk of Doncic's career. Nowadays that could mean him asking out.

I find it really amusing that Knicks are scheduled to have Latvian heritage night in about 3 weeks

Why does anyone want to play for the Lakers again?

Shout out LeBron and his camp.
He's embarrassing himself right now. You made a business > basketball decision, and you're scapegoating Luke Walton for it. And don't get me wrong, this is a LeBron thing. Same s**t in Miami and Cleveland. Miami just got hot and Spo hung on.
GTFO.

The thing I don't get is what exactly does Lebron want out of a coach? They have s**t personnel. Before Lebron got hurt they were a 4 seed. What does he want Walton to do with young players who aren't good and veteran players who aren't good?
