Having Malone coaching a few of these all stars will give us a huge boost in free agency

That's a bit of a stretch. If Malone is that much of a likable, charming guy that he can bond so much with a player in a matter of a few hours together that it makes them want to come play for him, that'd be incredibly impressive. He definitely does seem like a coach players love to play for, so it certainly wont hurt our chances to have him coaching all the all-stars. But I guess more than anything having him and Jokic there would only help improve our relevance and clout around the league.

Fair enough dude. I have some points I agree on, and others I don't. Good read either way. Regardless you, me, and ringing can agree that the pick and roll is rolling lol The thing that makes it so great is that it makes Murray pretty much unguardable coming off the screen. When he's consistently hitting that pass you put so much extra pressure on the defense. If they try to hedge it he just needs to throw it over the top and that leads Jokic to a + situation. If they sag off him he has the mid-range pull up where he is money. And this is all without even mentioning the PnR with Jokic as the ball handler which is legitimately unstoppable. I honestly don't have a clue how anyone can guard that. You basically have to have your guard and big defend the exact opposite way they've been taught to their entire lives lol.

It can't hurt and having Jokic around all the other All Stars will help as well. I just think Malone deserves it. He should be the COY this point and it shouldn't be close. A lot of people will point to Bud but everyone knew when they got a competent coach that wasn't Jason Kidd that they'd be a great team. Malone has us a half game behind the greatest team ever assembled with Barton, Harris, Millsap and Murray all missing extended time. He just deserves the spot. His coaching job is so much more impressive than Steve Kerrs this year. I can't imagine we beat Houston and Minnesota b2b though. If the Lakers steal one @ GSW I think he'll get it. I can't see us beating the Rockets and Minny on the road. Just a very tough task and even more tough without Murray.

If Utah gets Conley our chances st homecourt take a huge hit
Golden State Houston Utah Portland Okc
We would need to beat out two of these teams.

and Minny is only 10.5 games back.
It's not inconceivable we finish last in the division.

What would you like to see the Nuggets do at the deadline to improve their chances of staying in the top four, rock?
You're opposed to AD, opposed to standing pat (it sounds like) - so... what would you like to see happen?

You're opposed to AD, opposed to standing pat (it sounds like) - so... what would you like to see happen? Id be nice to see our front office get creative for once. Dallas steals porzingis. Utah about to steal Conley. Recently Portland stole nurkic. Okc stole pg13. Probably a few other examples too. Rivals are continuous getting creative and snagging good talent for cheap. Tc can’t do this, he’s good at scouting/drafting but that’s it. He is terrible at managing assets or taking advantage of what we have. He waits until they lose all value. Our 8-12 guys are solid compared to the scrubs that other teams have on their bench yet they turn garbage into talent all the time. So it’s frustrating to have such a good season so far but we are this close to falling to 5-8 and losing in the first round.

Should trade Millsap for Conley or Porz?
Utah and Dallas are doing deals like this to catch up with us. Something isnt Working for them.

Quick summary of who the Nuggets have ‘stolen’:
- Paul Millsap as a big free agent - Will Barton for a trash package - Nikola Jokic with the 42nd pick - Jamal Murray as arguably the best player in his class at #7. - Malik Beasley at pick 19 - Monte Morris in the 2nd round - former MVP Isaiah Thomas for the minimum - future COY Michael Malone who somehow got fired at SAC - future EOY Tim Connelly
you’re welcome dumbfuck

So it’s frustrating to have such a good season so far but we are this close to falling to 5-8 and losing in the first round. I think there are deals to make, but the big swings either 1) wouldn't help this year (Porzingis) or 2) you aren't interested in because they carry risk (AD). So I don't understand what you're looking for. Create a trade out of thin air for an impact player, pay below market so it appears a steal, and take on no risk? That doesn't exist. Weren't you opposed to a Paul George trade because of the risk he would walk? Same with Jimmy Butler? Same with Kyrie? I would be looking to add guys who can play on the wing, personally. But those are smaller moves. Like I said, if you see a steal to be had, or a guy TC should be aggressively pursuing, I'd be interested to know who. I think we're entering the part of TC's run here where he's going to have to be really good in veteran trades and free agency, which is something he has an uneven-to-flat-out-bad track record on. But you can't just be opposed to everything.

I think the deal is very risky for Dallas.

I think the deal is very risky for Dallas. They gave up a decent young guy and not much else Very little risk
