I like the idea. I think the text could stand to be a little bigger, but it definitely looks sleek.

I actually kind of like the first one best. The pickaxe and shadow effect both look good, too.

I like the Nuggets font, if you wanted to do players, put some of the retired/past nuggets players on it. I also wonder what it would look like if the pick axes were yellow.

I kind of like having our core of players on the banner. Ty, AAA (!), Nene and maybe Gallo should be around a while. Might throw Bird on there just for character.

Looks a little sparse. Maybe as a backdrop to the design you could throw Karl's mug in there.
