If the gender gap for the rest of the states is anywhere close to this, the election won't be close. Harris will sweep every swing state. Fami, the flaw in your analysis is that you need to compare these numbers to 2020, specifically the "total" vote. At this time in 2020, 92 million votes had been banked. Right now? It's 23 million. Mail-ballot requests for Dems have absolutely collapsed. On the other hand, the GOP shows out on election day. This is specifically why Dems in Wash DC are panicking. Dems have a history of voting early and utilizing mail (and this is also confirmed by recent polling) - but the enthusiasm there has utterly diminished. On the other hand - GOP returns on early voting are not only higher, percentage wise, right now (in comparison to 2020) but many of the GOP banked-votes are low-propensity voters, meaning the red wave still awaits on election day.

Do you really want to support a Nazi wannabe. That's your boy. Sigh. My son almost died from vaccine injuries - vaccines that were mandated specifically by Democratic officials. This is in addition the recent (and quixotic) Democrat embrace of Dick Cheney - the man who brought us the Patriot Act, the surveillance state and multiple forever wars - as well as Democrat officials openly calling for the First Amendment to be scaled back (govt censorship). On the other hand - MAGA has actually given political safe-harbor to the valiant activists who have pointed out that the CDC has zero safety-study data on any of the vaccines it recommends - this is in addition to calls to end the Patriot Act, stop surveillance activities, and of course, uphold the First Amendment. Uncle, I love you - but please spare me the Hitler comparisons. There's one major political entity in this country that truly respects personal choice and liberty, and that's the MAGA movement.

Pie -
Its basically an unspoken rule in global politics: You cannot criticize Netanyahu.
In spite of AIPAC activities - the reason I have confidence in Trump is because he is the only major leader (in my lifetime) that I have ever seen openly criticize (mock, actually) Netanyahu, as well as compliment the Palestinian leader. Heck - Mahmood Abbas even sent him a sympathy "card" after the assassination attempt.
For these reasons - I can confidently say Trump is our best shot at creating peace. There is no way you can resolve the situation in the Middle East without insulting Netanyahu. Kamala won't go there. Trump will. He's the only major world leader that's been willing to in my lifetime -
Note: George W came really close - it would have gotten done if Mossad didn't disable Ariel Sharon - W is uniparty, but I give that man credit.

Completely mind blowing to me that people think Harris has a chance at winning the election at this point. Just putting their heads in the sand lol. The Democrats made the exact same mistake they made in 2016. Pushed the wrong candidate. Would be interesting to consider where the world would be if Bernie won in 2016. If only

Gee, I wonder why so many more mail-in ballots might have been submitted in 2020 than in 2024? It could have been much more enthusiasm for Old Joe in 2020 over telegenic Kamala in 2024, or maybe, just maybe there was a devastating pandemic going on.
Trump is a fascist and his followers will come up with anything to twist the truth to rationalize maintaining support for him.

I think it's a slam dunk that he wins but not sure if you noticed but his followers are already claiming the election is going to be rigged/stolen since the ballots are going to take a long time to count in certain swing states. So basically if he wins it's a fair election and if he loses it's stolen/rigged. Comical stuff. You cannot convince me that the average IQ of a Trump supporter is higher than 90. I honestly think most of his supporters are just your typical male ego, racist, sexist type people. The problem is there is a TON of people out there like that.

American culture is increasingly the lack of any culture, or taste. This is reflected in the amount of support for Trump. He’d be a non-viable candidate in 1976, the year I graduated from UCLA. Coming out of Watergate era, people valued ethics and morals, which is why Jimmy Carter was so popular and won the election, though his opponent Gerald Ford also was a meritorious candidate. His big flaw was pardoning Nixon, which no doubt cost him the election. Nixon was the paragon of virtue and values compared to Donald Trump. And yes, he was also a crook! If Trump wins, as you seem to think he will, it will be a self-own by the American people. Our image as a country, society, and culture will take another big hit. But I think Harris wins. You better hope so, because your generation will have to deal with the consequences of Trumpism and maybe Vanceism for decades to come.

His big flaw was pardoning Nixon, which no doubt cost him the election. Nixon was the paragon of virtue and values compared to Donald Trump. And yes, he was also a crook! Culture and taste is extremely subjective and more or less every older generation (sorry GBG) thinks the younger ones lack culture and taste. GBG and I mostly grew up in the 1960’s and 70’s and there is zero question that older generations believed that the youth of that generation embraced drugs and simplistic, drug glorifying music and a lack of personal grooming and manners and whatnot. It’s a perpetually repeated refrain. A lot of Trump’s racism and anti-immigrant bullshit can be traced to wealth inequality. It fits easily into a centuries long pattern of that brand of ugly populism when there’s too much haves and have nots or just general economic hardship felt by a lot of the population. The biggest problem we have is too much concentration of wealth. I’m a pragmatist and a capitalist, but in some respects we need a bit more socialism to start leveling out the slope of wealth concentration and make life less precarious for more of our people. Our health care delivery system is completely ridiculous from an economic standpoint. I’m an upper middle class 64 year old and my health insurance is terrible and I get very big bills for very routine types of health care. In addition, all economic incentives are for doctors to go into surgical specialties and away from primary care and emergency care, and we’d be much better off if the opposite were true. It’s a broken system in many many respects. Republicans want to make all of this worse, not better, and then just rely on culture wars and racism to continue winning over voters.

OK. Arab Americans are 2/3rds Christians and many of them don't prioritize Gaza. so what? if a Lebanese Maronite in LA or an Egyptian Copt in New Jersey doesn't care about Palestinians being eviscerated in a genocide, that is electorally speaking, completely meaningless.
do you know does care very much about Gaza, are highly motivated politically and have the power to swing the election? the 100s of thousands of Muslims in Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia etc.

I read it.
Arabs and Muslims are not synonymous. Muslims care very much about Gaza. there are far more Muslims in the US than Arab Christians. there are many Muslims strategically located in swing states, Arab Christians reside mostly in blue states. this is a moot article that doesn't change anything.

this is how much the Democratic party is not afraid of Jill Stein: Tavis Smiley exposes the underhanded DNC tactics and reads verbatim the list of smear questions the DNC sent to him to attack Dr. Stein with. perhaps under the threat of losing his job.
the party with democracy in its name needs a civics refresher on what free and fair elections mean.

Preach brother. The Democratic party is an absolute embarrassment right now. They have no one to blame but themselves when Trump wins the election. Identical to 2016.
