you're not getting 2022 Oilers with no depth, no defensive identity and sticky Draisaitl one on leg, that's for sure.

Avs are getting Parise, Lehkonen, and Drouin back tonight. Makar and Wood are sick but probable.

sticky Draisaitl not exactly beating the lazy German stereotype after that fluke goal. (Lehkonen is a beast but that was some Derrick Fisher 0.4 s**t).
good win though. now do it 4 times in the playoffs.

Georgiev is heating up lately.
January: 3.03 GAA, .895 sv% February: 2.77 GAA, .909 sv% March: 2.35 GAA, .919 sv%
If he can ride those March numbers into the playoffs, the Avs are winning it all. If January Georgiev shows up we're in for a rough go of it.

Avs shellacked the Bluejackets, 6-1. Georgiev had 23 saves on 24 shots, bringing his March save percentage up to .924.
Avs are now right in the thick of the President's Trophy race. 8 straight wins will do that for you.
Really a crazy race right now Boston: 97 points in 71 games New York: 96 points in 70 games Vancouver: 96 points in 70 games Colorado: 95 points in 70 games Carolina: 95 points in 71 games Dallas: 95 points in 71 games Florida: 94 points in 69 games Winnipeg: 93 points in 69 games
Avs, once again, did a masterful job at adding players during the season and we still haven't seen Kovalenko yet. But Mittelstadt, Walker, Trenin, Duhaime, and Parise have been home runs.
And Landeskog's possible return still looms large. He's the undisputed leader of that team, he's got ridiculous chemistry with MacKinnon and Rantanen, he's a great defensive forward, and his willingness to park himself in front of the net and take on the other team's biggest defender while trying to deflect pucks in is invaluable.

If we lose a Game 7 at home and get eliminated like in 2019, I will blame KSE for banning Vicki.

Vicki suffered through the Shawful era, she deserves a statue not a ban.

A more serious take:
Vicki has always been controversial. The fact that there was a guy here named "Death 2 Ray" is a hint. Some people really like how friendly she is with players and even refs. Other people think she's entitled and breaks the rules. The "profit motive" allegation makes no sense (season ticket discounts for renewal are like ... 2% or something minuscule like that) but it does make sense that some of her interactions with refs and possibly a player not liking something she did might have drawn ire from the team or even from the league office. And if they were like "hey stop giving cards to refs" and she was like "nah fam" ... I could see neither side backing down until it turned into a ban.

Her thing was cute in like 2008,but these days with security and all with fans ,, her s**t does not fly anymore Its a shame her time with the Nuggets ended like this, but I could see how some of the refs may have complained if she was persistently trying to pass them notes or whatever. They do have a difficult job, crowds can get hostile toward them, and I’m sure some of them feel that any interaction with fans is inappropriate.

I haven't seen any indication that this is a *lifetime* ban. Might be more like a "you have to really take this seriously, you can't give things to the refs, let us know when you're ready to behave" ban.

I always thought she was a bit weird.. like a obsession/personality crisis to be that obsessed with the players and stuff. Giving bags of candy to players and stuff is a bit over the top. I could imagine aside from the long time nuggets jokic and Jamal.. she might come across as weird to the new guys.
In some dealings with her on FB groups n stuff she was a bit of a Karen type person. Ang cristiscm towards any players or stuff she'd try get you banned from a group and stuff, one of those. Couldn't admit anything negative about the team or players.
However, her husband died just before covid and she was a wreck.. I can't imagine what being banned from games will do to her now
