Any reason for the anti-Bush banner? This has nothing to do with my political views....I just don't see why we have to have political banners or whatnot on a basketball forum...These political threads are enough on their own.

the point is irrelevant now....on the main Nuggets page is the 100 indisputable facts about Bush, its a liberal/democratic site.

They paid the money for the spot. That's how political advertising works. I gotta think if it was a pro Bush sponsor that put up the money for the spot, you'd not only not complain, you'd be applauding.

I'm not sure it was paid for, no. But proboards has got to make money somehow. Almost all these free sites make their money entirely through advertising...

No I had nothing against it being a liberal banner, I didn't realize it was a simple advertisement...J I hate politics drifting into places like basketball, we've had a couple of heated political threads...and they have all made me realize I hate politics, thats why I asked the question. If it was a simple advertisement I have no problem with it.
