this might be bothering some (i hate popups) but if you leave one open in the background, they dont popup anymore.

however, there is a way to get rid of them on the board as a hole.

youve probably notice the 'ad free plan' thing at the bottom of every page. and you might have noticed a counter too. i added that about a month ago to check page views.

well for $6.99 proboards gives the board 50,000 ad free page views. that includes everything...so if you go from the front page, then to a section, then to a thread, then post, and then return that right there is 5. they add up quick.

well i wanted to check that and it turns out this month we used 50,000 page views in about 25 days. so if we wanted to we could get ad free for most of a month. the problem is proboards goes with 50,000 page views OR the first of the month, whichever comes first. so if you order ad free on the 25th, you only get like 5 days. bs...yes i know. gott be careful with that.

so if people really care, maybe we could each chip in 50 cents (14 people would cover it) and go ad free for most of a month. lemme know your thoughts.

well thats because EVERY page counts. so like i said, if you goto the main page, then the nuggets talk page, then read like 10 threads..post in a couple - it adds up very quickly. you can go through 100 and not even know it.

You don't pay tithing on what you spend, it is on what you earn. So your question should be "Did you pay your $.70 before you paid the $7". In that case, the answer would be yes...

Where is your $7? I talked with Rock, and each $6.99 that is contributed, he gets a 'credit' that he uses to kill the popups... No complaints about him misusing the money.
