Here is what I am predicting will be our 15 man roster.
STARTERS Kenny Satterfield James Posey Nikoloz Tskitishvilli Juwan Howard Marcus Camby
BENCH Nene Hilario Donnell Harvey George McCloud Chris Andersen Carlos Arroyo Vincent Yarbrough Predrag Savovic
Injured Reserve Mengke Bateer Lorinzo Harrington Francisco Elson
Here's Some Player Profiles on the younger guys
Kenny Satterfield NBA Comparison: Gary Payton W/out the D I really think he can be a starter in the NBA. When I compare him to Payton, I'm not saying he'll be that good, but offensively, I would compare his game to GP. Obviously, his defense will never match Payton's though. 3 Years From now: 14ppg, 9apg, 4rpg Career: Honorable Mention All-Star Teams, but never makes it
Nikoloz Tskitishvilli NBA Comparison: Cross between Kirilenko & Nowitzki A lot of people compare him to Dirk, but I think he is even more of a finesse player than Dirk. He's faster, a better shooter, and better ball handler than Dirk, but Dirk is better at driving and posting. That's why I say he's a little similar to Kirilenko too. He's almost the Bridge between the two players. One of those guys fans either love or hate. Kind of like fans were with Barkley. Of course all Nuggets fans will love him though. He comes off a little cocky to me. 3 years From Now: 24ppg, 6.5rpg, 4apg Career: Multiple All-Star Teams, BETTER than Nowitzki
Nene Hilario NBA Comparison: Alonzo Mourning w/Olajuwon Finesse Right now, I would compare him to Jermaine O'Neal, but you can't really do that, since Jermaine O'Neal, still really hasn't finsihed developing himself. But eventually I see him being an intimidator similar to Alonzo Mourning, more than Ben Wallace, like a lot of people think. Once he learns English, will also become one the most popular guys in the NBA because of his likeable sense of humor. 3 Years from Now: 19 ppg, 12rpg, 3.5bpg, 3apg, 2spg Career: Eventual yearly All-Star

I hope you're right. I'm truly an optimist as well.

Nene is going to Play PF, NOT CENTER. What about Mark Jackson, do we just cut him or try to trade for him? what do we get in return.
I have my doubts about arroyo, harrington is as good and will come cheaper.
Skita is nothing like kirilenko. Kirilenko plays on his energy and that is all, he cant shoot well and he defends hard. Skita can shoot, he is not a tooth pick but he does not play good D. Skita is a 7'0 SG

uh....BOWEN?! take off harrington. both him and arroyo wont make it. only 1. i think that still leaves one spot - maybe for mark jackson to stick around? (edit - nah, itll be mark blounts spot)

i feel skita will never be as good as dirk, although really damn good. he will be an all star within 5 years but to say better than dirk, who is still pretty young, is saying too much.
dirk will probably soon be a top 5 nba player. hes unstoppable on offense and if he learns D, watch out - mvp candidate.
even those stats you put up arent even close to matching dirk. he puts those up with his eyes closed.

NeneFan, right on , except for the little ryan bowen slip. It's hard getting this down to a 12 man roster. Lets see... Starters: Satterfield, Posey, Skita, Howard, Camby. Bench: Bowen, McCloud, Harvey, Hilario, Andersen, Arroyo, Yarbrough. IR: Savovic, Harrington, Elson. Odd man out, Mengke Bateer. This is kinda tough to do, but Bateer might be the best option to leave out. He hasn't been playing for the Summer League team because I think he's with the Chinese National team. Last year we were able to call him up, and he came here and played for us. I wish we could do that this year if we needed it. If not, Elson should not make the team, even though he was impressive in Summer League; keep his number on speed dial. I aslo wish George McCloud got a hangnail so we could throw either Peja Savovic or Lorinza Harrington in. I don't see us without Carlos Arroyo because he provides much needed help at the point. That's the only reason I'd keep him around, hasn't really proven himself...yet, cause he'll get a lot of time behind Satterfield. They are our only two true point guards, except for Harrington, kinda. WOW, we gotta really young team.

Damn, we are young. For that reason alone, I'd like to us hold on to McCloud for a while. McCloud and Howard are two good guys to show the young guys the ropes and lead by example.
I won't miss Bateer if he leaves - he seems like the odd guy out here.
We're young but high energy. This will be a fun season even if we don't win 30.

Why can´t Nene play at C? I thought he is tall enough!

Nene could play C or PF. He's already grown an inch to 6'11".. could end up over 7' easily and put on some weight.
But he would be an absolute mismatch at PF. He's already a hell of a lot bigger than McDyess. Right now, Nene would make Dice his b***h, if they both weren't such good guys.

Nene is not a center. He isn't tall enough and that's not really his game. Would you rather have him at C or PF? I say PF. He's 6-10, 240 (I'm not sure) is athletic, can defend, and has offensive potential. I'd rather have him freer at PF then restrained at C. Also, I don't understand why everyone wants to trade. We need to work with what we have for now, and not confuse things. That's been our problem in the past. Too many guys with the same talent level but nowhere to put them.

Nene is 6-11, 260. He should get taller and bigger. Right now, Nene is offensively limited. A good PF should be able to swing out and knock down fifteen footers, ala Chris Webber, Antonio McDyess, Robert Horry, etc. Right now, I can't see Nene doing that. His offensive game is rim-shattering dunks....right now, so the closer he is to the basket the better. If he develops a shot, which could possibly take longer than it takes for him to learn English, he could be a great Power Forward.

Wrong! I've met and stood next to him. If Nene is 6-11 260, I'm the second coming.
He's closer to 6-9 240.

Wrong again.
If that's the case, then Camby is 6'8", 230.
At the Chicago pre-draft camp, Nene was 6'10", 260. He has grown an inch since then and gained 5 lbs.
