I genuinely don't understand how the Nuggets won a Championship with a player as soft as MPJ. Might be the biggest feather in Jokics cap all time. He heard you. It's clear as day to me that MPJ still lets his offense affect his defense. He's got to stop moping around and playing soft when he's not super involved in the offense. He gets involved and now all of a sudden he's attacking and playing physical. Has to get more consistent with that. We've seen a ton of flashes from him this year. He's clearly grown a lot on the offensive end. He can't have halves like he had in the 1st though. |

A 24 year old point guard just did it to a former league MVP. I think the head coach of our team can do it to a point guard who has forgotten that his entire career is a concoction of Nikola Jokic. He did it behind closed doors. Do you think Malone hasn't had any serious conversations with Murray? No, I really don't think he has. |

If he is playing like he was vs Lakers in WCF then we are good, if he comes out of gate barely touching the rim on open 3, we are in for a long night |

I'm not going to belabor the point but this is 90% on MPJ and Jamal. Can't ask Jokic to do it all. Will grant that we run nothing for MPJ. Again I think Malone is a solid coach, but this stuff gets old. Giving up 70+ in the first half is on the team defense. Flat out. Dunks and layups and offensive boards. Hustle and heart plays. |
