Also Russ and PWat have been as bad or worse then Saric IMO. Though neither have been as bad as MPJ. Who has literally been horrible and playing 35+ mpg. Just a crap show right now. If you watch PWat on film, he is absolutely lost. He doesn't always switch when he's supposed to or hedge when he's supposed to. Can't finish at the rim, and can't shoot. Outside of like 2 crazy athletic defensive hustle plays he's provided us nothing this year. Same with Russ, though Russ looked kinda servicable next to the other 4 starters, but that's about it. WE NEED two of MPJ, MURRAY, and AG to play with 3 bench guys and be able to score and defend. That is an absolute necessity. I've got to think MPJ gets out of his funk shooting in that we can play him as a spacer with the bench, I'm also not afraid to play AG as a small ball 5, but that also means less minutes with Jok, can't run him 40 mpg. Murray IDK. He's just not got it. We shall see. Only hope is he finds himself again. Just worried the lower leg injuries over time have sapped his already avg. speed and hops.

He missed all of training camp, and I believe his inability to finish right now is that the hammy is still in the back of his mind, and he is putting a bit less force in his attempts, in fear of reinjuring it. He won’t take a big leap this season, though, until maybe late in the season, IMO.

I'm fine with that honestly. You will then HAVE To play Vlatko OR Tyson. Obviously probably Vlatko I would think. Something like some of these combinations: Russ/Straw/Braun/Vlatko/AG Murray/Straw/PWat/Vlatko/AG Russ/Murray/Straw/Vlatko/AG Russ/Straw/Pwat/MPJ/AG Then you could also have your 3 starters and 2 subs units w/ Jok Murray/Braun/MPJ/Vlatko/Jok Russ/Murray/Straw/MPJ/Jok Murray/Straw/PWat/MPJ/Jok Russ/Straw/Braun/MPJ/Jok

It's definitely Vlatko over Tyson. Tyson is in no universe a 4. He regularly got manhandled by G-League shooting guards last year. If Tyson plays any meaningful minutes at all they have to be at the 3, never the 4.

If Tyson plays any meaningful minutes at all they have to be at the 3, never the 4. If you play AG at 5, I would assume something like he plays first 5 minutes of the game/half, and then finishes with Starters last 3 minutes. Then he can play an 8 minutes stint in middle that gives Jok an 8 minute break each half. That would put Jok back down to 32 mpg. Now if you wanna play Jok 34 mpg you can then play AG first 6 min and last 4, and then a 6 minute spell in middle of half. This all presumes Malone will change which I think out of necessity he will have to.
