I predict Braun will be the first ever all-star teammate Jokic has.

Need to win a game before thinking about having more than one all star There is no player on this team other than Jokic that has All Star talent. That's why they never have multiple all stars. The talent that this organization has surrounded Jokic with is absolutely disgusting. This team would be so much better with an elite guard (Fox, Mitchell, etc). Don't care what all the fanboys say. They're much better players than Jamal. Jamal couldn't dribble past me at this point. PG13 would be a gigantic upgrade over MPJ too. But we can't make that trade because we need picks for Calvin to whiff on. I almost want the Nuggets to just extend MPJ for no reason now like they did with Murray. Just keep rewarding these guys for s**t they did years ago and not what they've done recently. Just infuriating because again, I don't really care about the Nuggets winning another Championship. I'm content. But they're going to prevent Jokic from going where he belongs which is in the Top 10 all time. Someone else posted it but imagine if you just threw Jokic on a team with the shooting that OKC has? How would they ever lose a game? The roster construction of this team is terrible, the financial decisions the front office have made are terrible and the 2nd/3rd co-star are slightly above average players. Get Jokic to Dallas to save his legacy. |

Like he had the ACL tear, he came back we won a championship, he looked amazing the playoff run. We come back last year to defend title, and he puts up better numbers in regular season then year before, but then he gets injured and he hasn't really looked explosive since that BOS regular season game from last season. He can't get by anyone and he can't finish at rim, unfortunately with both his previous contract AND with his new one. No one is trading for him for that. If he had lived up to the contract we wouldn't want to trade him. The FO needed Jamal to hit and he has not done so. It'd be different if he was playing well AND we still couldn't quite get over the hump then we trade him for something that fits better, unfortunately either he reclaims his former glory OR we're probably done. BTW this game vs. LAC should be ideal game to get things back on track. LAC is shorthanded, they don't have a ton of length, and they don't particularly shoot the 3 ball well. Now Zubac does a solid job on Jok, but they shouldn't be able to match us, this game will be telling for how the early part of the season is going to go!

There's some of that I can agree with to a point, but there's no picking up the slack and winning games when Jamal plays 38 mins and scores 12 points on 14 shots AND MPJ scores 15 points on 17 shots. We will win ZERO games when that happens even if our bench had played great! At end of the day these guys are paid money and they at least have to perform to average, MPJ and Murray were awful and no bench production was going to save us when they play that bad. |
