Mike is gonna be in trade rumors constantly because he's the only realistic option we have that would bring back anything of value. We're not trading Jokic, we're not trading Gordon, it would be stupid to trade Braun or Watson right now, Jamal's stock is at an all time low, and everyone else on our roster is either extremely unproven, washed, or a certified scrub.
I don't think it's likely we make a major move.

Maybe we should see him be good in playoff game #1 before we decide he “could become the face of the NBA.” He’s a fun guy to watch and I am down with that, but so far he hasn’t been the kind of player (especially the turnovers) the Nuggets have wanted playing heavy minutes alongside Jokic. By the time he’s shining in a playoff run, it will be too late to acquire him. Ball is their franchise player and is in the first year of a 5 year contract which according to spotrac has a 15% trade bonus. The Hornets are not trading him. I was just pointing out that although Ball is talented and fun, he has yet to play winning NBA basketball. He turns the ball over a lot and takes an awful lot of shots considering he hasn’t been a very high percentage shooter so far in his career. |

Yeah, he’s averaged 4.2 so far this season, but his career average is 3.3 in 32 mpg, with most games played between ages 19 and 21. That’s damn good. So what that he’s been in a lousy franchise. With Jokic, theoretically he’d be a WC AllStar, if healthy. And I never said Charlotte would trade him. Actually the opposite, that no way he’d be traded for Murray, straight up. Finally, Ball is on a slightly cheaper contract through 2028/29. About $8 mil less per year than Murray. |

I woukdnt hate that trade,EXCEPT Lavine has been so injury prone. He would definitely give us a secondary creator and is a great shooter. |
