I'm upset to see Pickett regress - but ultimately, the dude is a 2nd round pick. Very few 2nd round picks ever make an NBA rotation - ditto for most 1st round picks too, honestly.

Kinda lucked out considering the Holmes injury. IMO both trey and strawther deserve some decent minutes this year. Sucks that Pickett and Tyson somehow got worse, but there's only so much playing time to go around anyway and I think it would be a shame not to get trey and straw involved. Hall surprised me a little too. I think sometimes as fans, we focus a bit too much on the ball handler and forget about the guy setting the screens. Hall sets a great screen and he looks pretty good at catching the ball clean and having the awareness to know what to do with it when he gets it. Honestly, he's probably ahead of Zeke in those areas. I for sure focus too much on the ball handler. Interesting take. Appreciated

The biggest thing for Hall, I think, will be the same thing that has been an issue for guys like Jay Huff and Jack White: rebounding at the NBA level. Huff and White can get you 7-12 rebounds in a G-League game all day, but it never really translated into NBA boards for them and that's why they're two-way guys and/or international league level guys instead of full time NBA players. We need Hall to show a lot of growth in that area this year in the G-League. His shot may fall and it may not fall on any given night, but if he can consistently box out and get boards he can find a spot. I want to see him average a dozen boards in Grand Rapids. It may sound like a lot, but rebounding is much easier in that league. Gillespie averaged 10 last year. Hall can do it if he puts his mind to it. As long as the Nuggets get the board Im good

At the same time i have never been more against a prospect or more crystal clear that this player is complete garbage since first time i saw him play. It tough to draft in the 2nd round. Its even more tough if you actually thought Pickett looked interesting. Early 2nds is like one of the most valuable picks for GMs
