elite rebounder. high energy. versatile defensively. there is about a 100% likelihood Michael Malone would fall head-over-heels in love with Reed. but that would mean Calvin's prized draft pick Daron Holmes will not see the floor this season. I'm very interested to see how this plays out.

Just because we could use a backup C doesn’t mean it will play out for us. usually an agent leaks out the information of which teams are interested in their client, to project value for future dealings. if the Nuggets are not one of those teams that gives Reeds agent a call and is dead-set on 30 year old, post-ACL injury Dario Saric, then one could safely assume Calvin is taking Malone's preferences into account. |

Spurs just traded Devonte Graham and his 3m salary with a 2nd round pick to the Hornets, who they just waived. and unlike Reggie, Devonte is not a one man tank army. I would take him if Russ doesn't work out.
Nuggets have options now. maybe Calvin can return from his unearned vaction and make a decision or two.
