2 max players in (almost) elimination game with 7 points in 38 minutes combined on 3 for 14 fg. I swear to God we have the worst max players in the entire league. I know Murray doesn't deserve this harsh criticism but man this is 4th game so far where he's a non factor in the first half putting tremendous pressure on Jokic. Now if Jokic gets exhausted in the second half people will say Jokic shi* his bad, bla bla bla and nobody's going to mention the max duo that put him into that situation. He scored more points, had more assists and the steals than the rest of the starters. Credit to Gordon for playing his ass off but the rest of starters, jc

Naz Reid will have fresh legs in the second half. Monte Morris is also giving them “Rodney hood” fresh legs help.
I’m confident we’ll pull away in the second tho. Edwards’s legs are gone and kat isn’t getting stronger.

As I always say: Never bet against Murray. I will never bet against Murray, but he put more pressure on Jokic in the first half than Gobert, Reid, Towns and Anderson combined |

What a slugfest. I’m not sure why Jamal is hesitating so much at the midrange. He’s had a couple of opportunities to take that jumper and he’s passed out of it. It's the length of Minnesota. It's the same reason why MPJ is hesitating. I should’ve said floater. He has a good second to take that floater when given that screen at the top of the key. But I get it, Gobert’s length is scary. Murray still needs to pull up. Murray flurry needs to take us home to start the 4th. I believe Jokic gets this lead to 10 and a Murray flurry puts it away. |
