7 of 16 😉
That was a great, great game…. Jib not done but on the track to complete it very soon.
This was great team win on the back of the MVP of the league which had a masterclass game. Well done.
Finish the job on Thursday and get some well deserved rest 😊

if you think Jamal played horrible game, then you didn't watch the game.
Jamal was moving all the time, took god knows how many screens, but was unable to shake off Ant. well, there you go, he played bad. what more proof do you need?
side note, what was Ant's offense this game? draw conclusion by yourself. on other hand, NAW who was guarding Jamal in games 3 and 4 and couldn't hit at ocean from a boat shot like prime Steph Curry last night. wonder why, hm...
also, I dont understand hate towards Gobert. he was doing his best. he interfere at least 6-7 clear cuts in the paint, force people to kick the ball out. he stayed in front of Jokic on almost every shot Jokic took. what he should do when Jokic took hook shot, on side, going away from the basket? or when he shot the ball on top of the board? this was MVP playing his best playoff game this year. Jokic made fool out of Davis last season, then Adebayo by hitting all those impossible shots. I guess they are all shitty defenders, and best defender in the league is Marcus Smart. btw, I would love for Finch to bend under pressure and bench Gobert. when he sit him last night Nuggets scored like 7 times in a row, with ease. problem is, Finch is not an idiot so he probably is not going to do that. the only reason Jokic constantly scoring on Gobert is because no one else in this league is not even attempting to guard him one on one. but if you send help on Jokic, and Nuggets are playing locked in, you going to face same results like you did in games 3 and 4. he is that freaking good.

If MPJ could catch and hold on to the ball Joke would get him 3-4 layups every game, but he can’t. Hands are shite. Joker doesn’t even make that pass anymore ‘cause he can rarely catch and finish. That said his rebounding and passing, cutting has improved at least some. Not great but better. And a high release 40%+ 3 shooter is a great asset. Especially next to the best passing big to ever play. Max player on the bench again lol. Like Facundo Campazzo It's just not an MPJ series. This one reminds me of the Suns series when Murray went down with an injury. MPJ isn't capable of playing against physical defense and the Wolves aren't really doubling Jokic and if they do it's off AG. It's just not a series where MPJ is going to thrive or even play well. He doesn't really have a role other than space the floor.

One more to go!
Last nights the nuggets defense was probably the best they’ve played in the last 5 years. Hope to see more of that in game 6.
And I think AG is definitely now one of my top 3 favorite nuggets of all time.

AG has improved tremendously. Remember when we used to complain about his hands? He has always positioned himself well for boards and interior defense but he used to fumble a lot. Now his grip is like steel.

I’ve especially enjoyed watching Gordon turn into a leader. Proud of him - he’s a good man.

AG came here as a hyperactive SF and now he's a monster PF, a great smallball C, and an occasional PG. His versatility reminds me of Iggy with the prime Warriors (except I don't hate his guts).

A story of expectation, failure, growth, and redemption. He’s a good guy made better by the journey. The kind of story that makes sport great. It’s made even better by the fact he found his niche as the blue collar do what needs done guy. I’ve especially enjoyed watching Gordon turn into a leader. Proud of him - he’s a good man.

The Joker-Gordon bromance is also pretty adorable. Reminds me of Landeskog-EJ for the Avs.

Jokic last playoffs: 30.0 points, 13.5 rebounds, 9.5 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.0 blocks, 3.5 turnovers, 3.5 fouls, 54.8% FG, 46.1% 3PT, 79.9% FT
Jokic this playoffs: 28.8 points, 13.3 rebounds, 9.5 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.7 blocks, 3.4 turnovers, 2.9 fouls, 56.3% FG, 30.8% 3PT, 90.0% FT
The 3 point shot was the only thing he was missing. He went 2/3 last night. Watch out.
Responsible for 70 points last night (points and points off assists), most in NBA playoff history without a single turnover.

Man I'm still under the impression of that Q3 and what he was doing - it was just pure domination.

not for a second did I think this game was in peril, even when Minny went on their run(s), it always felt like they were going against the tide. it was a truly remarkable show of dominance.
that was like a preview of Jake Paul-Mike Tyson.

and on the AG front, it's funny he was always ridiculed during his time in Orlando as being a bust and a fake franchise player, but if he was drafted by a better team and developed as a third-fourth option, he would have not have developed the ability to play PG in stretches. it's because he was on a s**t team with no expectations that he was able to hone these skills.
