This one will very likely decide the top seed in the Western Conference.
No injury report yet. I assume Gordon will play.
KAT has been cleared for 5 on 5 work by the Wolves so I assume he's playing, but they may choose to wait until they're back home to throw him out there. We'll find out tomorrow.

With Giannis out and Dallas almost certain to tank a last game match up with OKC to avoid Denver, this is 100% a 1st vs 3rd seed shootout.
Huge steaks.

Chris Finch has already shown his entire playoff plan. Tough choice - go all out and reveal playoff hand - or take the 3rd seed, and keep the playbook closed.
I'm not convinced we can beat Minny tonight without showing our playoff hand.

I'm not convinced we can beat Minny tonight without showing our playoff hand. Both Gobert and Edwards logged 38 minutes last night; and when you factor in the altitude -- Minny 'should' be more tired than Denver tonight, as Denver played in high altitude Salt Lake City. If Karl Anthony Towns returns tonight, he will be rusty and it could disrupt their chemistry. If he does not, again, Minny will be more tired either way. I guess we will see more of Zeke and DeAndre tonight to match Minny's size. The concern as always is the bench. Assuming Gordon plays tonight (very likely); 3 of these 6 need to step up and have at least a 'decent' game: Braun, Watson, Holliday, Zeke, Reggie, DeAndre.

Huge test for CB and Watson as they'll obviously have minutes on Ant. Good thing is that this slides MPJ to the 4 which makes it impossible for the Wolves to play their typical 2 big defense on Jokic.

Still listed as GTD everywhere I’m looking. Sometimes they show the latest status by default (which was yesterday).

Jokic's greatness is so undeniable now the ESPN talking head morons are arguing that he shouldn't be favored by as much as he is to win MVP. None of them can even make the case that he's not the best player in the league, but they're still doing mental gymnastics to pretend that it's a slim margin.
"But Edwards kept the Wolves afloat without Towns!"
Uhh, Murray missed more games than KAT and the Wolves still had Gobert, Reid, Conley, McDaniels, NAW, Morris, etc.

Hopefully that was a typo This happens with someone every game day thread. ESPN leaves their status from the previous game up until they have a definitive update for that player for today's game. And generally it's not their own reporting, they're just waiting for Vinny from the Denver Gazette or Katy Winge from Altitude to tweet whatever Malone told them.

Gordon and Murray will both go through their normal pregame routines and then Malone will decide if they're playing, so it sounds pretty likely.

I realize he doesn't have nearly the injury history Embiid does, but it still seems insane to me that KAT is coming back twice as fast from the meniscus tear as Embiid did. It's a 6-8 week injury for most, Embiid took the full 8 weeks, Towns had the surgery a month ago and is likely to play Friday.

Gordon and Murray are in.
Full availability tonight. The only question is which two among Pickett, Tyson, Gillespie, Key, and Huff are inactive. CG still has to miss one more game, not sure about Key.

Maybe the biggest RS game since we played the wolves to end the season a few years back.
