This is hilarious. Please let that series happen so we can revisit this I'll throw $500 on it if you're a gambler. No guarantee that that series happens but if it does, put your money where your mouth is. If it does, let’s talk. Not gonna bet know in case Lurch Holmgren cracks a sternum before the post season.

just win the last 5 hm games you get the 1st seed Next 2 will not be easy if Murray sits. Suns gameplan tonight was very smart. Double Jokic and force Denver to take a ton of 3s which is not what they do. If MPJ/KCP aren't red hot, you're not going to win with that formula.

Jokic and Murray couldn't even beat the Dame and McCollum led Blazers their first time in the big dance. Rodney Hood tipped the scales in Portland's favor. Rodney f***ing Hood. Give that 2018/19 Denver Nuggets Jamal/Jokic these OKC role players (Outside SGA and Chet), they go WCF and they steal a game or 2 from GSW 100%

Not going to lie, most disappointed I've been all season. Had a huge opportunity with OKC losing at home and came out flat and really just played flat for most of the game. Felt like a team that was playing January basketball and not near April basketball.
The bench is a major concern. Like major major major.

I expected the Thunder to win last night. They still have the Suns, Knicks, Sixers, Celtics, Pacers, Hornets, Kings, Spurs, Bucks, and Mavs. I have them at 5-5 in that stretch, so Denver has to go 5-4 to jump them. Nuggets have 4 tough games left. Split those ones and win the ones you need to win and you get the 1 seed. 5-4 and Minnesota passes us

Jokic only scored 22 in 42 minutes ahainst Eubanks and Thad Young.
I hate saying this but Embiid and Giannis would never do this.

That’s been true all season. Why the sudden concern now?

Just have to hit open shots. You make more of them and you win even without Mal.

Trying to avoid being a prisoner of the moment, because a lot of us hit the panic button when we crawled to the finish line last year. But I’m with you. I do not trust our bench at all. Not for even 2 minutes. Jackson looks like a corpse out there. Braun is playing about the same but the problem is we need him to be more than the 8th guy. He needs to be closer to the 6th guy. Pwat is a wildcard who is starting to shrink in big games. And they’re all big in April

Calvin gambled like a boss big time past summer. He even said to DNVR guys that his vision is to win 3 in next 6 years instead of going all in year by year. I have a major problem with that philosophy. First, Jokic is not going to play at this level forever and also he is not playing in his late 30s (you can book that) plus you have aging KCP, AG athleticism is only going to drop year by year while Jamal and MPJ are injury prone players with major injury history.

When you win a title and get zero interest in free agency while teams like Phoenix, Minnesota, houston, Dallas etc can all sign players, your depth is going to be a disaster.

We were cap strapped. Calvin only erred in taking three picks and putting two of them, both 2nd rounders, on regular roster. CG also should have been given standard contract, but that’s a bit in hindsight. Tyson and Pickett on regular contracts killed our chances to improve at trade deadline and in buyout market. Should have actually left one roster spot open until then.

All this game does for me is make me even more confident that we'd b***h slap this soft ass Phoenix team in the playoffs again.

If he wanted he could have made all the same moves and sign all the guys Suns signed, he openly said that he is willing to keep going with draft and home development instead to DNVR guys and aiming for 3 in 6 years. Only problem with that is that you are as good as your best player is in basketball and he is not getting younger.

He said that because they didn't have any flexibility to do anything except by trading one of core guys which would've been stupid.
