the Nuggets would have to cut one of Deandre Jordan, Holiday or Chanchar to get it done. Then you do it

we're going to need Holiday in the playoffs.
DJ is essential for goodvibes
that leaves Chanchar. it would be very Morey-like to cut a guy while he's rehabbing. and fatman loves him.
not a easy decision.

Cancar is also on a very advantageous contract for next year. Holliday has been solid. I do think gallo would be better than Holliday - but Gallo’s injury history concerns me

Hunter is on year 1 of a 4 year rookie-scale contract he signed with the Nuggets. it would highly irregular to waive him for a buyout guy.

It's really annoying how the Thunder never lose. Not counting all these times they keep losing...they just never lose the rest of the time. Right, rock?

all those first round picks and the best Presti could do was Bismack Biyambo
I can't wait until he wastes all those assets he acquired due to a combination of stubbornness and indecisiveness, just like his spiritual father, Danny Ainge.

I liked this comment b/c f**k OKC. But - you don't think Presti has done a good job? I give him credit for fleecing the league and gathering pics - within those picks, it looks like he's built a great core.

Plus - Hunter has massive potential, and at minimum, looks like he can develop good role-player skills. Our championship window will be open for about another 4 or 5 years. With one supermax player, 2 maxes and AG (close to a max) it's critical we have good role players and rookie contracts. Waiving Tyson would be an "all-in" move on trying to win one more next year, in sacrifice of future championships upcoming. Our team isn't desperate - which is why we don't have to do that.

Presti has done an exceptional job, just like Ainge did a phenomenal job in Boston. I just don't believe Presti like Ainge before him has what it takes to his team across the finish line. they're both like Smeagol from LOTR, they can't dare let go of their "precious" -- which is why Gordon Hayward and Biyombo were Presti's big moves instead of say, OG and PJ Washington/Daniel Gafford for instance. I imagine the Nuggets would prefer not to see that hypothetical team in the playoffs. my prediction is Presti is going to draft most of those picks, create a talent glut because there's only one basketball and you can't possibly develop so many basketball players, and peak as an elite second-tier team. just like the Celtics.

watched Dallas-OKC last night. OKC is nice story and first round exit. Luka toyed with them with ease. Same happened when they played Lakers. They just don't have enough size. on other hand, Gafford is just what doctor ordered for Luka. if Dallas can stay healthy, they will catch top 6 seed. PJ Washington and Gafford both fit perfectly. Luka, Kyrie, Josh Green, PJ Washington and Lively should be their starting 5, with Kleber, Gafford, Powell, Hardaway and Derrick Jones from bench? thats 10 ppl available to play in playoffs. and I understand Gafford is not good on defense, Powell is below average player, etc etc... but compare it to our bench where no one knows on which basket they need to shoot, you cant say Dallas is worse. also, Luka is not worst defender in the universe this year, and Kyrie is actually average defender. I'm not saying they are as good as Denver, but I wouldn't look past them.
also watched GSW and Phoenix this morning. that was playoff intensity game. Warriors have some good things to look after. outside of Klay looking like worst starter in western conference, they are looking good. Draymond is starting to pick up, Kuminga is excellent and Wiggins is looking good again. without Steph they are nothing, but so are Nuggets without Jokic. its not how good they are individually, but how complementary they are to Steph. one more thing, they got Payton back, he is huge for them. once CP3 comes back, they can be tricky playoff team. however, needs to be said that Phoenix is perfect matchup for them. if they need to play Nuggets or Lakers, how are they going to guard? Draymond on Jokic and Wiggins on AG? not sure its good for them. same goes with Lakers. Wiggins on LeBron is not good enough, and Draymond on AD while he can handle it, his true strength is playing as help defender. so they need Looney who is looking 30 years older this year and Jackson Davis who is still too young. but healthy Warriors are playoff team
west is getting more interesting every day, and I'm loving it!

there goes Nurk, crying again. I’m no fan of Draymond’s antics, but this is ridiculous. Nurkic was trying to bait Green into his second tech all night. He didn’t take the bait and was a major part of why GS won. Nurk pulled his usual disappearing act late and then pouted after the game. Reason #412 the Suns ain’t winning s**t this year.
