Snooze fest of a deadline overall so far. But I guess that's what happens when very few teams have tradable assets anymore. Like 8 teams own all the 1st round picks in the league, and it's so much harder to make salaries match in deals when guys are either making 30+ million or 2 million. And even the buyout market will be boring since 8 teams aren't even eligible to sign anyone good who might be bought out.

Waiting for the big Hunter Tyson trade to open a roster spot for buyout market, but maybe it ain’t happening. 😂

all the big names (OG, Harden, Siakam etc) were already moved so I wasn't expecting a blockbuster trade.

Doubt many of those guys would even have a chance at seeing rotation minutes, so it'd be pointless.

He didn’t do badly for Dubs last season and is only 33. Can’t understand why he went unsigned until now. So opening a roster spot still may be worth it. Green can’t be worse than Zeke has been this season and is fresh, right?

So far Knicks are the biggest winners and Mavs are the biggest losers. Mavs traded top 2 protected 2027 1st round pick with Grant William for P.J.Washington which is the most expensive lateral move...Mavs missed the playoffs last year, they are in play in now and can be out of the playoffs or out in 1st round and Luka may be asking out in the next 2 years easily, so that 2027 first round pick may bite them very hard. Grant Williams was exactly he was in Boston, but they have the same problem with that PF position since Porzingis...Luka needs that guy to sit in the corner (P.J Tucker style) and do nothing on offense. So, adding Washington over Williams with 1st round pick is one of the worst moves in my opinion. Mavs FO is making mistake after mistake ever since they drafted Luka.

ATM, 55 people are on line to presumably monitor this thread for a Nuggets trade. They are watching paint dry, metaphorically.
Edit: Former Nuggets pick Dougie McBuckets to Indy for a second round pick.

Mavs gave up Curry, Williams, and a 1st for PJ Washington. Yikes. Grant was garbage and had a large contract. Yet Dallas can flip him for a solid player And yet it’s impossible for us to trade Zeke? Road to the finals just got tougher

Phoenix acquires Royce O'Neal... yet another wing. EDIT: David Roddy too No idea why they'd want to trade for anyone who isn't a point guard Western contenders keep picking up rotation players for scraps And we cannot find a single playable guy for our bench. I’ll never understand how teams can do this. Even bad teams are able to find rotation guys

The mavs gave up nothing and got gafford and Washington. Two guys who would easily help us

Road to the finals just got tougher Do not compare a solid player on a bad team to a solid player on a good team. I don't see much difference between the two. It's marginal, especially for what Mavs need from that position. If Grant Williams had the same freedom in Boston and Mavs as P.J had for the Hornets you may have the different tune brother. Watch how Washington bust out and Williams thrive moving forward.

ehh, I'd still take DeAndre over Robin Lopez, who is essentially a mascot at this point.

What? The mavs gave up nothing and got gafford and Washington. Two guys who would easily help us Two first round picks isn't nothing. Dallas wasted all of their assets to get knocked out in the play-in tournament, and you're jealous? Exactly. They gave up 2 first round picks for 2 marginal/lateral moves. Mavs got fleeced badly. I don't see the path on how Luka stays there long term. AG/KCP costed us 2 first round picks and 2 end of the bench players in Monte/Barton = Huge upgrade for what we need. Mavs did nothing that will have nearly the same impact/upgrade. Every single move they did since they drafted Luka is bad. Worst FO in the league by far.
