The playoff run so far has been incredible.
15-4, 10-1 at home 5-3 on the road with 5 straight road wins .... i can't recall the last time we won 5 straight road games
AG huge tonight along with brown Nice to see MPJ cutting and giving us something
Jamal and Nikola, beautiful
KCP all series i have been screaming at my tv he needs to slow down and chill, finally we got that from him tonight and it paid off
huge 3 from Uncle Jeff
Felt like a wrestle to get to lead over 10
Regarding miami, felt the message from spo was be as rough crafty and dirty until the refs call something.... the desperation was infuriating to watch from them

Comon rock, what terrible do you see now in your cards Just focusing on game 5. Monday. Nothing else matters. 48 minutes. 4 quarters. 1 game.

Not even gonna look game again. I just can't. This is not enjoyable now, its more like, cmon, lets just finish it, then we can talk basketball.
Monday game is going to be, by far, biggest game in Nuggets history. And I think this team is ready. Watching interviews after game, there isn't even a glitch of overjoy. They are all focused, and they should stay that way.

Man, I am just watching videos from the locker room and I am impressed with Malone. The chain for D goes to Jokic but he didn't forget to mention JG and his huge 3 in the 4th and then he listed other players as well Malone is having one of the greatest postseason coaching runs of all time. I don't think that's hyperbole. Every single button he has pressed in every single series has worked. It's unbelievable. Yesterday he keeps Jokic on the bench from the 9+ minute mark to the 4 minute mark in a road playoff game. He could have panicked when the Heat cut it to 5. He stayed the course and Jokic ended coming back in up 9. There are very minor things we can nitpick (calling timeout vs not calling timeout) but it's an all time run. The guy has been unbelievable in game, in the locker room, on the sidelines, everywhere. Malone deserves a ring just as much as the players.

He still never used his challenge, and should have done so when Jokic got his 5th foul on a Bam flop after they were tangled up. Sure, it’s likely not to be overturned, but it was marginal at best and keeping Jokic on the floor with even a 20% chance they overturn the call would have been worth using challenge. Otherwise, Malone has cemented himself as a lifetime coach here if he wants it. He might get poached by a big market team in the coming years, but I think he wants to be here as long as Jokic is here if not longer. All this is contingent on avoiding an historic Miami comeback in this series (1 in 36 times it’s happened).

game 4 will forever be known as the Aaron Gordon game.
the man has cemented his legacy in Nuggets history. salute to him, he did everything "right" since being traded to Denver. IMO, there's nothing greater in sports than a player putting the team before his ego and being rewarded for it.

IMO, there's nothing greater in sports than a player putting the team before his ego and being rewarded for it. All the ups to Gordon. He’s very talented — he has a strong handle and can create shots off the dribble — but he’s been willing to play a “whatever the team needs” role. Its not so common to get NBA players who are as talented as Gordon to do that. To me, its a real contrast with Brown in Boston. His handle isn’t strong enough for him to be as much of an on-ball player in the playoffs as he has been — he should be picking his spots more carefully — and that’s been a big factor in huge playoff series losses.

That call was BS but I don’t think there was much chance of getting it reversed. I thought the call against Murray after Butler bulldozed him with his shoulder had a pretty good chance of being reversed, and that play was worth 3 points. Unless I am missing something, that call seemed 100% incorrect.

I keep reliving that November 2020 night when Jerami grant left us to be the man in Detroit. It felt awful at the time. But little did I know it was a huge step for this franchise in the right direction

I appreciate Grant for his time with the Nuggets. his defense on Kawhi remains one of the best defensive performances I have ever seen.
I feel like that Clippers series was perhaps the important development in the psyche of this team. heavy dogs, down 1-3. basically the entire NBA world counted us out... and they won, dominantly. they're still riding off the confidence they built from winning that series.
obviously the Jazz win was important too but that was more a meeting of equals (at the time, anyway) and they were one Conley shot away from losing that... so that's more in the "winning against the Spurs in 19" category.

I don’t see it like the Nuggets needed Grant to bolt to succeed. But things need to fall into place and Gordon being made available for a modest price turned out to be great timing for the Nuggets and great for Gordon as well.

Grant and Gordon are interesting opposite paths. Grant was a second round pick wanting to prove more and maximize his earnings. Gordon was the top 5 pick who has already seen what Grant was going to see in Detroit, losing a ton of games but maybe getting more numbers.
Gordon was prepared to accept his best role because he had lived the bad team life already and gotten paid well for it. Perfect timing, but the Grant trade was a great move by Connelly, and kind of gave the blueprint.
I was pumped to get AG for his skill set, but he has blown me away with his curiosity for the game and deference to team. Going to Serbia to see Jokic isn't something guys do. He's a Nugget for life.

Gordon's brother was with Jokic's family when they all shared a big group hug with Joker after the game last night.

My heart says he’s a Nugget for life, but my head says we should trade him by his age 30 season at the latest. AG thrives on his elite strength and athleticism. Once he loses some hops and needs to rely on skill and touch, and once he loses some lateral quickness on defense, he will become an anchor for this team. Players his size tend to break down fairly young. I don’t see him surviving the aging curve all that well.

Bogdan Bogdanović was there as well and he and Drew Gordon played together in Partizan Belgrade, the Serbian team Jokic roots for.
