Landale hasn't been playing against Jokic. there is world of difference between playing against 203cm tall Gordon who isn't center and 211cm tall best player in the world. there is also difference when you are expected to play 15 and 35 minutes. Jokic will eat him alive. he basically needs to go out, demand the ball and destroy Landale. once double teams starts coming, its 3 point barrage. every single Phoenix fan will stop worshiping Landale after tonight. That's the key to me too. Force Phoenix to double every possession. You do that by having Jokic set the tone early and eat Landale alive.
Durant will play on 5 some. That will get Jokic in foul trouble

No it won't. Jokic will never have to guard Durant. Booker-Shamet-Ross-Warren-KD is an all 5 shooting lineup I guess they could technically use and in that scenario Jokic would just guard Warren. They don't have a lineup they can use where Jokic can't be hidden. |

Nuggets need to just show up. PHX has nothing that can stop us defensively. Even when were missing buckets there great looks. PHX has survived off hero ball all series long and we know that could be something we deal with tonight. If Jokic/Murray/MPJ/Gordon all give you reasonable performances PHX simply doesn't have the depth to match it. You get an A+ game from 2 of those guys, and A/B+ game from the other two and the Nuggets are in business. Honestly another Jokic legacy game combined with 1 of those guys being able to get buckets might be enough. Them showing up also gives KD/Booker basically zero room for error as well. Like Booker became human for a quarter last game and the Nuggets pulled away.

The team being sick explains perfectly why this wasn't a sweep (as well as why Jamal hasn't been himself since Game 2, really).
For what its worth - I traveled to Denver last month and got the most gnarly cold-flu from my in-laws. 2 weeks - started as a mean cold, graduated to a terrible fever/flu, came back down as a cold. One of the worst cold/flu's I've ever had. I was honestly wondering if that was what was ripping through the team right now, based on the play - we've just looked fatigued an unfocused, from Game 2 thru Game 4.
Jamal will get an IV of fluids before the game. Our play at Game 5 gives me confidence we'll take this.
