I’ve been an nba fan my whole life and never knew the 3 refs all had different titles. Sorta like the nfl. |

I’ve been an nba fan my whole life and never knew the 3 refs all had different titles. Sorta like the nfl. Rock, last chance we'll probably see Lebron vs Durant in a playoffs series, no way the NBA doesn't make it happen |

I'm not going to preemptively cry about the refs and point to a conspiracy.
Nuggets don't deserve to win the series if they can't figure out how to slow down Booker.

Since its a home game, I expect our role players to step up: KCP, Jamal, MPJ and Bruce Brown

I guess we could try an all-booker-defense. Go with BB/KCP/CB/Watson/AG and doulble/trap Booker every time he touches the ball. Tell guys to make their fouls count. No and-1's. |

Why do we need to slow down Booker to deserve the win? Jokic and Murray outscored Booker/Durant duo in the last game. We can't alow that their scrubs outscore MPJ and other our starters |

Honestly I'm so torn. PHX has been basically unbeatable when Booker goes off and very beatable when he's still very good but not unstoppable. I get selling out to stop him .. I also get betting on Booker not being MJ/Kobe/LeBron etc. and returning to normal regardless of what you do. Is literally going to hit every single good look he creates and continue to hit all the contested shots on top of it? Something tells me when the bad shooting night for Booker comes(weather in this series or the next) the looks won't be all that different than what we've seen the past few games. I'd go straight up on Booker to start but be quick to adjust with different defenders including CB. If by halftime he's gone nuclear than yeah you bet on somebody else to beat you. You can't let him beat you with another absurd performance but you also can't be so afraid of it happening you give up early on. I could see Malone doubling out of the gate and it could absolutely work but I dunno.
Also what's lost with in all the Booker hype ... is the Nuggets just need a complete team game. Both games are winnable if that happens. If you get a Jokic MVP game & Murray/MPJ/Gordon show up than it won't really matter what KD/Booker does. It's not like PHX is doing some incredible defensively. Murray/MPJ have being making mistakes/missing great looks all series on there own.
